In case five gs1, in the high prosecuter's office, there is a model steel samurai in front of the window. When you examine it, it says between a rock and a hard place, Wendy. And then on the steel samurai's foot, it says "Back from the dead, Wendy. What does this mean? Does it have anything to do with case 4 of gs2? Or is Wendy trying to scare Edgeworth? Wacky Edgy

"Between a rock and a hard place" was probably a callback to PW1-3, and how she spoke about the people in the trailer who told her not to talk to begin with. "back from the dead" could either be a pun related to the current case itself, or foreshadowing to Case 4 of the next game.

Well, she seemed in pretty bad shape at the end of PW1 Case 3

Perhaps she went to the hospital for a little bit?

I'd say the two notes were from previous court battles. The "between a rock and a hard place" was probably because Edgeworth lost case 1-3. but the "back from the dead" note could be that way because Edgeworth almost got the death penalty in 1-4.

I'll never understand that crazy Oldbag.

I don't know if it has to do anything with JFA case 4 because I'm still playing it at the moment. But Phoenix does always seem to say " we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. And in case 3 in GS3, though i dont know much about it, someone is back from the dead.

"Between a rock and a hard place" Is probably because SHE got fired, and expected Edgeworth to care. OR DOES HE???

I loved that <3
I think she wants to be between his rock and hard place.... :hotti:
The back from the dead thing could have gone for both of them, what with him "choosing death" and her leaving Global.

Well, that could be a pun on the actual name of the case, 'Rise from the ashes'.

That's my interpretation. It seems to fit with the fact that Edgeworth was originally supposed to have "chosen death" in JFA, to be revealed as alive later in the game, but 1-5 took away from the suspense somewhat by including him. In other words, he was brought back from the dead in 1-5.

I'm not sure how much sense that makes. I'm not exactly fantastic at expressing myself and I may have my chronology mixed up. :yuusaku:

He "chose death" after 1-5.

Yep, but in the original games - before 1-5 was added in the DS version - he would have "chosen death" following the events of 1-4. Adding 1-5 to the DS release gave away the fact that he actually just went to Europe.

Bah, I fail miserably at expressing myself clearly and getting my facts straight. :larry:
