For April May, thanks! Of all the sprites here she was the most fun, and her hair was the most fun part. XD
The color is from Vera, yes, I couldn't find anything closer. I did break the palette rule on her hair though (there was no GS4 sprite with a color like her hair color so I kept it, the dark red in it too) so maybe I'll see what I can do if I bend the rules on her suit. XD'
For the mouth, I had actually made everything on her face 1 pixel wider, so I didn't think of that! I'll try it.
As for the front pose April May, I know it looks off, hopefully your comments will help me fix it. n_n
For L, thank you for one.
The blinking animation is really just bare-bones and the frames alone are horribly ugly. XD'
I think it's the amount and magnitude (probably not the right word XD''') of the folds that give it a shiny look. Maybe it'd help if I filled in the white area on the lower shirt front with the first shading color? I might also replace the second shading color with the color used to smooth it, just to see how that looks.

For Mikami, I can see what you're saying. The glasses looked odd to me straight, but maybe I'll try again.
For Kristoph, I was actually looking at that side view when I drew it, I guess I just missed a little. XD' Thanks for noticing, I'll try again. Maybe if I redraw it I can make his left lens visible..

I noticed that his hand is off too, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Maybe his knuckle is too pronounced?

I'm especially impressed with the L sprite, which I really appreciate the difficulty of, since I've spend the past 3 days trying to make an L sprite for my own project with minimal success. The question that I really want to ask though is how you did they eyes, they're really spot on and something I've had loads of trouble with.

He's supposed to be looking straight at you. Mello has these weird tiny teal irises. I know you can't see his left one, it looked even weirder when I moved it.

The eyes... well, I started with the eyes, like I always do when I ink pictures. I was tracing a resized version of the sprite (if you can call it that, it's not pixel art) from the Death Note Kira Game. I basically traced the whole thing in red, then colored all the lines their proper colors and filled in the face, then went in with the shades of gray and darker skintone colors to soften them up. Part of my redline layer was still intact, so here's some pictures... I hope they help? n_n

very nice~I don't think there's any problem with his talking animation, other than that the right side of his face (our left) becomes a little jagged in the pose when his mouth is fully open. Maybe it's a little too fast that throwing you off?
As for the blink, well... I honestly have no idea. The first time I saw it it caught me off guard, but the longer I look at it the more sense it seems to make. o_o; I've finally come to the conclusion that the reason it seems strange is that it feels as if he's blinking with his right eye and only the right side of his left eye first (as in, the in-between frame of his animation). It kind reminds me of something like... Guy Eldoon's weirdo blink, for example (Aggh, have you looked at that? I noticed it once and now I can't get over it DDD: noooo). But honestly, I think it looks fine as-is, I only managed to realise that after very careful scrutiny (and Opera zoomed waaay way in).
The only thing I think I would change is that the side of his nose looks too straight, and his nostrils too dark. Perhaps? I'm using his first two talking animations as reference, as these are poses whose head tilt are on either side of the tilt you've created.
Also: isn't it so much fun to get a new pose out of a full-body sprite? :D Yay~

She's about the size of Lamirior. The only thing that's not proportionate is the smoke, it wouldn't have fit on the screen. XD
Ohhhh~ I was wondering if you were ever gonna post sprites on this board. :3
She's very nice, the darker palette for her outfit really suits her. I feel as if it makes her breasts rounder, more supple (ogod after typing that I realise how weird that sounds). Only thing I really notice is that some of the sides/corners of her butterfly brooch look a bit too squared off, and I think it's missing one antenna. Also perhaps the piece connecting to her earring is missing? Hmm.
Also, eeeee, I just cheated my way into looking at your thread on the "actual" forum and saw the full-body Kristoph you posted <3 Reaaa~lly nice. Isn't it fun to get a new pose out of it in the end? :3

Heh, yeah, I didn't do much with the gold pieces because I have a lot of trouble making them out for some reason... I'll try rounding them off and adding those missing pieces, though.

I totally see what you mean with the blink, now that you mention it. The top is his left eye is mostly grey while the right is mostly skintone, which is probably what gives it that look.

Well, I'm in need of a special sprite-ish work for my sprite
comic, absolutely not urgent at the moment, but I thought
I'd start asking around, y'know. Well, I don't think this is
something I could manage myself, or by myself, so I thought
I'd check if any spriters here match the unusual criteria
for what I need. Well, you're especiall proefficient in free-draw,
which is exactly what I'm going to require. Due to spoiler
reasons for my sprite comic I can't really reveal anything,
but I'd like to ask a few things.
1- Are requests open? XD (Or at least, anywhere in the (near?) future)
2) Exactly how proefficient in free-draw are you?
3: Do you think you could draw a scene sprite? (no background, but that large, and a person (well, part of one))

I guess, my only problem with it is it's EYES! I hated Mia's normal eyes, they make her look so UGLY. If I do say so myself, perhaps try using the Maya channeling Mia's eyes. I think those would suit her better.
