Robert has a very neat outfit design! Although I notice a corner missing from his face on the left side, much as there is a piece missing from David's hair on the right.
My final recommendations in a nutshell are:
Save in a better format.
Sharpen up your outlines.
Adjust proportions.
Keep practicing!
This is good work for a beginner, so keep it up! I'll be sure to check back.

Here's one. The animation is kinda...weird. The eyes seem to shrink when he blinks, and I can't fix that, so any other points except that is welcome

Only trouble I have is the white specs should be removed, otherwise it's a freaky sprite with a new taste.^^
And the eyes aren't shrinking, it's called "blinking"

TO ME... his hair doesn't seem quite right according to the rest of his face... I don't know why... perhaps you could add something to it/edit it to make it more natural seeming to me?
that is, if I'm not being paranoid. But other than that it looks excellent.

And maybe, i dunno, I'm thinking a part down the middle or much shorter spikes for him. But I don't know how that'd look, just tossing ideas out there for you to work with.
