Trucy's not in her normal clothes, because it's New Years, and she's dressed up in her fanciest outfit. (Well...it's all relative... she considers a silk hat and cape everyday wear, so this kimono wouldn't be the fanciest, so much as the special-est)...
And I think she's about to wake Nick to ask for her New Year money.

And I think it's pretty obvious on why or how would Thalassa be in the group so out of place?
Although there's only an unfortunate number of 4(or 3?) entries of these, Trucy has a different outfit in all of them.
I wouldn't think they would try to spoil something so blatant for a newer game at least.
