Calling all spriters who are up to a challenge!, Want to show off your skills? or Perhaps it's prizes you want?
First, let's tell you what's it all about and what rules apply.
1/ Much like the Oc contest a while ago, it's a contest where you submit your works in the hopes of winning.
Much of the same rules and regulations used there also apply here.
The only Key differences are :
- Sprite's only (Sorry, no fanfiction or fanart)
- You're not limited to just Oc's (Alternate versions of GS characters are also accepted)
- A back-story to accompany your sprite is nice, but it's not something it will be judged on. So you may choose to include one or not.(Graphic contest after all)

2/Now, the Prizes...
1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive one the following: (First place picks first, Second chooses second, you get the idea.)
-"The Official casebook" vol 01 ENG-
-"The mystery box"- (A book's a book, but the mystery box could be anything!)
-"Bragging rights" ( Honorable mention, will get his sprite topic sticky'd for a month) -> yeah, will probably go to 3rd place >_>

This makes no difference, Choose wichever format you wish ( Min. PW sprite size, >_>no megaman thingies or jumbos )

Bluntly put, No. If you previously submitted work to be archived in the court records sprite database, then they are equally valid like the previous contest entries. (sorry, have to draw the line somewhere, I'l update the main page to make this more clear)

It's hit and miss. There are a couple of threads about somewhere in the forums that you can get other people's opinions.
I'm glad the contest is a few months away, becuase trying to recolor sprites is very hard if you have no clue what you're doing.

Haha, You may enter sprites that you created but were animated by someone else.
But just out of common courtesy, ask the animator as well.
Glad to see people are getting interested in this.
About the mystery box:
Part of the purpose of the box, is the risk you're taking.
It could be a Edgeworth poster, a GS figurine, or perhaps even a casebook!
But who knows, it also might be an old sock, a lightbulb or a rusted keychain.
But don't worry, It'l be something GS related...>_>
