I was replaying Turnabout Serenade again earlier, and in the very last moments of the trial, I heard what sounded very much like a Variation of the Objection! 2007 theme.

It had the three note scale at the start, like other variations, and had slight changes in the background throughout, so I'm pretty sure.

But it's not on the official soundtrack, and it hasn't been ripped anywhere, so it's pretty unfounded yet.

Has anyone else heard this?

Do you remember when exactly this happened in the trial? Lines plz, or something like that.

As far as I can remember, it's twice in the game - once in case 2, once case 3. If I'm not mistaken, the case two one was with Stickler. It seemed less varied than the ones in the other games though, the three notes at the start (which were also a lot less noticable than usual) were the only difference I think.

Yeah, it happens with Stickler, right after you dial his number.

Replaying Turnabout Serenade. It's hardly noticable since Apollo is talking, but it plays just when you present Machi's profile when asked who Daryan's accomplice was. Only that one time. I can't believe I managed to find it, myself.

I think the reason it's not on the soundtrack is that the variation is actually contained entirely within the Investigation ~ Overtaken theme. When it loops, it plays the variation opening. So beginning at that point, they would be exactly the same, and thus it would be redundant to include in the soundtrack.
