Yeah, I like Dragonforce. They've got the EXTREME SPEEEEEEEED and "so-fast-it's-funny" riff factors that I love in my heavy metal, so it helps that they play them in abundance. I actually want to see them live, especially since they've released a new album some months ago which I have yet to buy. I've actually genuinely liked them since I first listened to TTFAF on Guitar Hero III and I have yet to find anything about them that would cause me to throw a fanboy panic attack and cry "SELLOUTS".

I've seen a video of them playing a concert well. Most of the time they sound like shit live because they do it drunk.
I don't plan on going to any concerts, but I like the albums.

Their guitar solos are pretty good though.
I listen to Dream Theater and the only commendable efforts I can find about them is that:
1) They're really good at putting together neo-classical styles with epic song lengths
2) They're good at switching meter times
3) John Petrucci
Although...
1) Dragonforce are really good at putting together ultra-fast, lengthy songs
2) Sam and Herman make some really killer solos
3) Dave Mackintosh
But, comparing both bands is like comparing Jay-Z to Iron Maiden. Which one is better? Does it really matter? Is it even possible since they have noticeably different styles?
