I know this sounds weird, but I was watching a show and apparently they're trialing having kids as prosocutors, judges and juries in the Children's Court, as kids seem to react better when they are being tiold off by other kids rather than adults. This has trialed in other countries, with good results, supposedly. :phoenix:

How wonderful. Obnoxious faggots will become the new prosecutors of many countries if this goes through. I'd going to eat my own heart now. Quite literally =/ Being told off by other kids just means that the kid being told off is more likely to punch the other kid in the face. And the children will likely be stupid enough as to vote for whoever they liked more.

If one is trying to improve the behaviour of children, bring back the cane.

What? What's this 'reacting better if being told off by kids'? Then they would just be know it alls to the other children.Besides, I remember smacking this boy in 3rd grade because he kept telling me 'my math was wrong and stupid', that 3 times 4 was in fact, not 12, it was 7. Being reprimanded by your peers just makes you want to kill them, because they can't possibly know what they're talking about. >:| This is not a good idea.
-Also, I'm waiting for prosecutorwannabe to find this.XD-

Oh yes Penny, very lulz indeed, Jaws agrees with all of it.

Whatever happened to parental discipline?? Agreed. The cane. We revive it.

Not all children are as advanced as you say. Take you, for example.

You wouldn't last a day in court, you know.

Wait, you wouldn't last a day in law school, for that matter. The sheer amount of thought involved would make your head explode.

Yes, please, get me a cane. So I can knock some sense into wannabe here. :damon:

Oooh PhoenixFire, your icon is made of win~

And let's not turn this into a war, we keep this to the subject.

Wannabe did say something objective after all, everyone was once a child. But I would argue that children aren't ready for the court of law. I know by my own studies that law is hard work and serious business, and takes years to truly understand the power one mandates in court. As well, experience, maturity, and a good thorough understanding of philosophy is key, and why let kids worry about THAT? They should be worried about recess and puddings in lunch and having fun! And adolescents and teens should be focusing on school and first dates and social circles and parties and ect ect. Let them keep their naivete!! In our society, that innocence is lost so quickly, ja?

And as CUTE as it would be to have a lot of Franzy vKs runnin around, authorities set up rules and laws so teens don't have to worry about that. Might as well take advantage, ja?

I do admit that I would be SLIGHTLY nervous on my first trial. :payne:

I am confindent in my abilities to sucessfully suceed.

I could counterpoint each of those points, and rather eloquently at that, but this isn't the place, is it?

Hey, if you're confident, then go for it babe. If it feels good, do it. But I worry for you now mein freunde...life is passing you by; don't let that happen! Dating and parties is all part of the fun being young. Hell, its fun when you get older too! Do more of it and live a little, ja? You could most likely use it :kyouya:

Well being here, acting like Naruto with your I'm-Gonna-Be-Hokage-BELIEVE-IT complex isn't getting you any closer to that goal, I don't think. This is a fan site, after all, not an aspiring lawyer guild. Talk, mein freunde, it is cheap. So instead of talking, get out there and just do it! Achieve that goal and be proud! Walk in that court room knowing you've worked hard for it!

But to the subject, again, I would advise the young to stay young. No rush in being a lawyer anyway, right?

Children should have no role as lawyers. That's all there is to it. They're just not ready.

And Wannabe? Don't try and make everything about yourself.

Nothing like using some old tricks to teach some new lives, a wise man once said.

Children are also more liable to believing what people say without thinking it through. And their general knowledge of any subject is less.

I do not belive or trust everyone.
Insult me all you want. I still want to become a prosecutor very soon and I will work at my goal even if everyone insults me and doesnt belive I would work hard being a prosecutor.

I wont let insults get me down. I will keep on getting closer to becoming a prosecutor. :edgeworth:
