Last night a baby boy was adopted into the family of Impulse and Azure Flame. He was given the name Nego and he felt a little alone. "Maybe I should get to know the other members of the family," He thought. So, he went to shake everybody's hands and said: "Hi, I'm you brother/son/cousin Nego. How's it been without me?"

"Ugh....", Dullahan sighed in disbelief at his aunt Cain's naivety.
"I meant that I don't want to wear socks and that's that!!!" He huffed. He knew for a fact that he was never going near another pair of socks again....well at least in this house. He didn't have any fear of outside socks. As he was contemplating, his new adopted brother stepped inside and introduced himself, but since Dullahan didn't know about his adoption, he was very confused at Nego's introduction.
"Hi Nego!!!" he responded happily!!! "It's great to see that I've got a new brother, cousin, and son!!! Wait....son?" He looked at his father suspiciously.
"Um.... I don't have a son!!! Me and Kirby haven't done anything dad, I swear!!!" he said panicking, trying to cover up his mistake but knew his father's cold stare would just penetrate what little defenses he had.

"Woah, sorry about that. I just...went somewhere...and I don't remember adopting anyone...how drunk did I get last night?"

Dullahan just stared at his mom wide-eyed. "Mom!!! You've been at the booze again? I don't you and dad to get a divorce.... and why is cupboard so...."
Dullahan stopped with this sentence. He figured that it would be better if he didn't find out. After all, this house was pretty crazy. He couldn't wait until he was old enough to move out and live a normal life. He then looked over at Kirby.
"You're coming too?" he asked her. "That's really great. I just hope it's not because my mom is forcing you because that would just be akward." He started to giggle a little embarassingly and then shot a glare over in his mother's direction.

Ultimate and Cain got into the car and drove off. Once out of sight from the rest, they made their way over to the Adoption agency. There they saw young Shadowpower waiting for them.

"Hop aboard son, were adopting you" He said. I feel like Madonna doing this
"Silver and Urby will be so surprised to find they have a new brother. Right, lets go to that picnic and introduce you to the family"

They headed off to the picnic. Once there, they got out of the car.

"family, this is our new son, Shadowpower"

D-Berry had spent hours, HOURS in front of the mirror, fixing his hair and thoroughly inspecting his head for remaining potato chip shards. He was finally satisfied with what he saw; to his highly-trained eyes, his hair looked better now than it ever did. To anyone else (ie, sane people), he had just been combing his hair obsessively for the last half-day. Pleased with his work, he slipped his comb back into his pocket and wandered into the kitchen, mumbling "Man, I'm hungry," as he went.

He then runs off with Kirby so the family can't hear them.

Dullahan knew his mother had to be lying. He could just tell, but this petty argument now felt inferior compared to the impending doom that was crawling around his feet. They were fire ants and he was very allergic to them. He stared at his aunt and uncle and saw their new son Shadowpower and then stared at Kirby. He felt like a fool.

Cain stayed with Shadow, to give him a feeling of security. Though she was very curious as to her nephew's behavior, above all, she wanted she and her husbands new child to be happy. Cain got on her knees to get on eye level with Shadow. "Is there anything you would like?" She asked gently, still stroking his hair.

Dullahan was standing in his mother's cake, trying to fight off the ants and luckily, it worked! He ran over to the picnic blanket and sat down, his feet covered in cake. He looked over to see his uncle Prosecutor talking to his mom.
Good he thought. About time someone has a talk with mom about this whole situation!!!

" what kind of family have I become a part of. The only one I thought was normal is bathing his feet in cake. My wife is trying to push a relationship, my underaged daughter got married, my brother in-law combs his hair all day, and my brother carries around a giant sock."
