I'm not going to respond to any of this, just because I don't want this thread to turn into a wank-fest. We all have our opinions on this, now let it rest please.

How do you think that Edgeworth spends his Thanksgiving? Or does he celebrate it at all? Maybe he still works? That would be an Edgeworth thing to do. Heh. :edgy:

Haha, he might. Or Phoenix and Larry would bug the heck out of him to celebrate. ^_^

I'm sure that since the von Karmas are from Germany, and don't celebrate Thanksgiving, he never did either. (Although, in the Japanese version, they're American. Hrm.) Either way, I can't imagine them being a loving family having a giant meal together. ^_^;;

I bet Edgeworth, being the workaholic he is, would take the opportunity to get extra work done, without other people around to bother him. Heh.

I also doubt that he celebrates it. He lived in Germany for most of his life, after all.

I'm sure he loved spending the holiday with his father when he was a kid, though. ;_;

Edgeworth doesn't seem like the type that would want to get together with anyone to celebrate such a holiday. Although, I can imagine in the Japanese version he did celebrate a few Thanksgivings with the Karumas(von Karmas). They seem like the type of people who would be into that holiday just to show off how perfect they are.

This was the first Thanksgiving I've ever had that no one said grace or suggested it. I guess my Grandma was too mad to remember.

I guess Edgeworth would be the one who is all surprised that half the shops he wants to go to are closed and wonders why no one came to work. It's a consiracy to him.

I can see him having British tendencies in his voice. Which leads me to this hilarious thought, in England instead of saying wake-up or asking if you want a wake-up call, they ask when you want to be knocked up (I've heard this from more than one source).

Picture this, Edgeworth and Phoenix are going on a trip, so he has to pick up Phoenix. He shows up to the door early in the morning, and Wright is confused.

Wright: Edgeworth, what are you doing here, and at seven in the morning.

Edgeworth: Wright, don't tell you've already forgotten. I'm here to knock you up.

Wright: Umm [looks down at himself]. Then smiles. Well, I guess if you want to try, that will be alright with me, but I don't think we'll achieve the desired results [huge grin on his face].

Edgeworth: [Glares] Very amusing, Wright. Now get you bags and get in the car.

Mitsurugi was living in America and Edgeworth was living in Europe. :redd:

I used to be surprised that the producer especially emphasize the fact that they are not the same person, but now I can see the tiny differences between their personality.XDD

I still call wake-ups wake-ups, because 'knocked up' has various attatchments to it like the piece Lunaria42 just wrote up. I suppose it might be some sort of cockney slang in London or something.

Actually the game characters themselves are almost the same, but fan works make them different (although I still think Edgewoth is a bit more frankly than Mitsurugi in the games, maybe due to the words they say) . I know it sounds weird, but I feel like Edgeworth is more initiative and funny. He has kind of western sense of humor while Mitsurugi doesn't. And also, Mitsurugi is more mighty (maybe just because Phoenix is much more mighty than Naruhodo...). Maybe it's just be me though.

That must be the reason, because I can't see Edgeworth being that way (at least all the time).

Actually yes. Edgeworth's personality is known as tsundere in Asia, and his behaviour is very typically.

And those characters whose personaily are tsundere can hardly become semes. It's a kind of subtle rule, probably because most of the tsundere characters are females.

You can call me whatever you want:3

*nodnod* Same here. I mean, he really takes command in the courtroom, so you'd think he'd do the same in the bedroom. XD

Very True. *taps finger as she checks her yahoo messanger screen*

I think it is pretty true what Tuesday says about Edgeworth being funny. I've said this before, but I think it was in another thread, but Edgeworth does try to be a little humorous when he presents some of his arguements. I found it, so here you:

That and the garden of justice speech. He actually had some pretty funny lines in the games if you go back and replay them. I was replaying the 1-3 the other evening and noticed that in one of his objections that he tried to sound cool by turning a popular phrase "Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk" in to his own.

Edgeworth (Regarding Ms. Oldbag as the killer): She could look the Steel Samurai look with that costume...But she couldn't walk the the Steel Samurai walk! She wouldn't have limped!

Oh Edgeworth, don't try to sound cool. Just be yourself.
