I think he looks much better now. I got rid of his Red glasses and gave him thinner ones. Also ditched the feather behind his ear. Now all's we need is some more poses for the prosecutor.

I thinks the reason why some people say your sprites looks weird is because:
When you do shading, you go straight on to the next color, unlike in Ace Attorney,

I talked to my dad the today, who used to be an the Navy, and he told me that to make a small edit in mu sprites. The badge on his chest has been taken off, and have been replaced with much smaller one's on his lapel, the way it's supposed to be.

The Desk slam was pretty tough to pull off. I was was trying to come up with ways to make an original deask slam, but there's just so many ways you can slam a desk. So I came up with a mix of Edgworth and Godot's slams. I also dreaded wanting to reuse Luis's head sprite from his sleeve tucking sprites, but his face came out all wrong when i tried to make another one. Oh well, Have to go with what works.

Nah, I'm not entering a contest that nets you a win when you have friends backing you up. I prefer to win with my skills alone.
Some of the entrys I lost to, in the last contest, didn't look good at all, and after losing to that, it just doesn't seem it's worth the effort to to make a sprite just to lose out to someone who's more popular, which sucks. Besides, I've never really cared about winning anyway. I just wanted to be up with the rest of the winners

It might be interesting to note why there are two sets of Luis in the sheet. Luis will have a military background in the fan game I'm going to be making. By the time he meets Phoenix, he won't be in the navy anymore. Apperently, Military Prosecutors can't prosecute anyone outside the military. meaning Luis, wouldn't be able to run a trial for the state. So I've decided that he'll have a Military Background, but not be in the Navy anymore. That way he'll be able to Prosecute in the game i'm making. I hope that makes sense.

But alas I can only speak for myself in this matter, I just entered for kicks the day after i joined, (just meeting the deadline date by an hour).

I enjoyed your hawk sprites so far, Although this particular pose bothered me.
I realize you're trying to create a salute, but the shape of the head in one of the frames seems odd.
Looks like he's hitting himself with quite some force.
