"...not gonna be easy, for any of us..." Hubris said. He'd been sitting in his chair and watching so intently that this hands had left small indents into the arms of the seat as he gripped them and leaned forward. Orochi's tricks were so fast and forceful, it would be a test of wit to counteract them on the field. It would be worth the risk, though, to simply get up and test his survival skills, to see if the end of the world had made him strong and smart enough to overcome this living apocalypse... and if the other one won, Sakuya, then things would be even more of a bizarre turn of events.

Clearing his throat and taking a drag, he looked at Sayuka.
"If you really want to see it, force it. Wouldn't you be thinking the same way?"
A bright light surrounded Orochi. And once it went away, Orochi was nowhere to be seen. Anyone with half a brain in this situation KNEW that Orochi was planning something. He was invisible to senses of even the best. But Sayuka had to have been above that. So, he made sure his presence was known from all sides. He waited patiently until she made her move.

Which she didn't. Ironically, she was waiting for Orochi's move... she figured that she didn't want to play into his hands without further observing what he had planned for her. She simply watched him, keeping her eyes focused on him like a hawk waiting for the opportunity to swoop down and pluck him away... with that cool-headed smile on her face. "Hmhmhmhm~"

He would fire a ki needle to scratch her up a bit. Then a few more... only to swarm with hundreds. Each cutting her deeper as they hit. Given they DID hit. Orochi on the other hand had exited his haven of invisibility and taken a stance that signified he intended to end it before he killed her. However, this meant the shades would be revealed as umbrellas. Which if she wasn't bleeding profusely, she'd be attacking him off the bat... hopefully. If she did, he'd end it then. If she managed to survive and remain unscratched which would be impossible had she not had those powers of hers. Regardless, he knew NOT to underestimate her prowess in battle overall.

Sayuka's sixth sense caught wind of those ki needles and she dodged them swiftly, her slender frame swiftly flying out of their way. She was quicker than she had let on earlier. While dodging, she threw multiple waves of psychic blades at Orochi, and unlike the previous batch, these ones were not quite so solid. In fact, if he so much as tried to shatter them with his hands, he'd find himself short a few fingers and possibly some quarts of blood. And they came swifter than before, due in part to this. She threw hundreds of those blades out at him. She figured that if he wasn't stupid enough to try and stop them like earlier, he'd be avoiding them as well.

Using fluid motion to sway with the wind, Orochi closed his eyes and merely felt their presence as he dodged them with a hair's width of safety. However, one cut his cheek slightly. Once he stopped moving, he took some blood off of his cheek and licked it off.
Using a bit of more occult arts, he decided to use the Arcana to his bidding. Drawing a tarot from a slot he had on his back, it revealed itself to be the Emperor.
It glowed as he launched a fist that had a giant one surrounding it at Sayuka. If she dodged, she'd have to be faster. Because he could move these fists as if they were his own.

"Hehe, cute..." Sayuka said under her breath as the fist came barreling at her. She didn't dodge the fist, but blocked it. Although the impact sent her skidding back, she was still standing and alright. She responded with a technique of her own--she conjured up a sword of her own psychic energies, which would be much like the earlier blades--not solid, but not fluid, but very dangerous. Touching it with your hands would still be a big no-no. Twirling it in her hands, Sayuka would swing a rapid assortment of slashes at Orochi as she approached, smiling as she did so... he could get out of it with some good blocking... trying to take those attacks head on would be a grave error.

He would use the phantasmal fist to knock them away with a gust of wind to match their speed, stopping them and sending a giant sonic boom toward Sayuka. He would thrust multiple fists at her to see how far he could weaken her body structure before he was forced to start the Dance of Death. Although he didn't like it, he had no choice. She forced the Arcana out, but not their full power... not yet. Regardless, he was ready to defend with his martial arts considering the fists only harmed their target, not anything else. The Emperor's Soul would keep attacking, hoping to at least wear her down enough for another hefty strike at the weakened point right below her rib cage.

((Rewinding. just a little. I hope you don't mind.)) Kory saw a bunch of needle things headng straight at him out of the corner of his eye, so he quickly set the hot dog down carefully and started spinning his staff very quickly, facing away from Lydia and Rahfka and blocking all the needles as he was spinning it so fast. He looked down and realised the hot dog had a bunch of k needles in it.
"Awww, maaaaan! You know what?! I give up!" Kory shouted. He turned back to Lydia. "So, Lydia, do you want anything besides a hot dog? Maybe ice cream?"

She only managed to take half the blows... she was still going strong though, even with the damage inflicted upon her. She always was a pretty tough cookie... she once got twisted up in barbed wire. Highly unpleasant, but she had been through worse. When the attacks stopped, she smiled... "Nice... I'm not done yet though."

She didn't want to use this one attack, but it seemed she now had no choice. It was time to bust out one of her signature techniques... not her most powerful... she had two other tricks that were far stronger, but this one would hurt even Orochi. Once the blows stopped, she closed in as quickly as she could, slamming a knee into Orochi to stun him. Then, she powered up energy into her arms, held them out, and then began spinning rapidly on one foot. Within moments, Sayuka became a whirling dervish of slashing energy which rotated around her as she drilled the attack into his body. Even if he blocked it, he was going to be taking good damage. That's just how the technique worked.

"SLASH BUSTER!!" She yelled, executing the attack then and there and slamming it into him for several seconds before ending and coming to a full halt, dust still circling around her even after ending the deadly attack. She then paused to see just how Orochi took it... and if he responded with something just as strong, she'd then unleash her second most powerful attack.

"Ah hell." He'd get slashed up a bit, each slash tore at him with some blood trickling down his arms and his shirt being effectively destroyed. It revealed the scars inflicted by years and years of fighting. The cyclone wasn't done tearing at him yet, so he decided to repeat another technique except vary it.
"Volcanic Wrath!" he repeated the same motion except with volcanic eruptions coming to nullify the force and to shoot vicious blasts of lava toward Sayuka. If anyone was within the vicinity, they'd better run. Lava would soon demolish the place if the fight proceeded as it was. Despite the Emperor Arcana being currently active, Orochi still kept to his elemental arts for now. But once he had her pinned down, he'd hopefully deliver the final blow. Hopefully. She's tougher than an army of idiots, that he knew for sure. How tough was the real question.

"L-lava?!" Kory screamed. "Aww, maaaaaaaaaaan!!!" He grabbed Lydia and Rahfka and ran as fast as he could. The lava went by, not quite getting Kory, Lydia, or Rahfka. Kory was panting. "Do you mind?! I'm not your opponent!" he yelled at Orochi.

Shrum took a seat behind the others with a handful of hotdogs. "Jeez guys! I leave for 10 minutes to raid the hot dog cart and you almost get killed with lava? Tsk tsk" Shrum sat down and ate another hot dog...quickly...very quickly "So from what I can tell this is gonna be one hell of a fight!"

Sayuka wouldn't be so easy to pin down. Even if he could, he would have to deal with the rest of her ability. If anything else, Sayuka is like no one Orochi has ever faced. She always has been the mold-breaker. Seeing the lava flying at her, she would wield her arms around, sending slashes all over the flying red-hot projectiles, sending them scattering to smaller pieces away from her. One piece landed on one of her black gloves, and sizzled there. A quick flick of the wrist is all it took to throw it off. Sayuka then dodged the rest of the flying lava, smiling coolly... Some of the lava had burned away a few spots in her clothes though... and a few bits did singe her legs. She scraped it off quick, before it could do any lasting damage.

"Your attack... is slow... and too easy to see coming..." Sayuka said, her hands resting back in her pants pockets, "...while you were performing it... I set something up..."

Indeed. With all of Sayuka's dodging, she had set up a trap for Orochi. All around him were blades of psychic energies all floating all around him. No matter where he went, he'd be caught. It was one of her trickier maneuvers, for sure. Orochi would have to be highly skilled to avoid them all... especially once Sayuka flicks her wrist, and causes all the blades to come flying at Orochi from every direction you can think of. They weren't fatal, of course, but even in small amounts, those blades can be deadly.

Surrounded... My impatience cost me. But considering she's truly intent to defeat me, I believe it's time I used another secret. She's forcing me to expend this much. Dammit.
He decided then to calculate mentally the blades. Knowing Sayuka, they would be of lethal nature. And because there were at least hundreds, he'd have to act faster than normal. Looks like he'd have to use his aura reading and some annoying tactics. Breathing in slowly, it would seem his arm movement was just as slow. But rather than attacking, he concentrated his aura in a circular sphere around him. The spherical shield would crack under the pressure she gave off because it was made on such short notice, letting at least several actually strike him in the arms and legs when he attempted concentrate more. But because he managed to survive with enough energy, Orochi stood strong. Bleeding a lot. But he stood strong. Using his speed, he took advantage of the time he had. It was a rather speedy dash, but it got him in range quick enough to launch a straight left at a deadly speed toward her weakened stomach pit. This time around, he focused on cracking portions of her spine plus the back of her ribs. Some of the energy he stored was used to strike through the inner layers in order to do so. The explosion afterwards insured it.
"Regal Buster!"
Problem was if she'd be able to heal past it. Because he'd really like to get some help with these wounds of his. Bleeding made him light headed and he'd like to CONTROL his strongest state of mind.

"O-oh...I doubt...I'm very strong at all..." Lydia mumbled awkwardly to Rahfka.

Then, she was suddenly grabbed and pulled out of the way of a lava attack from the fight by Kory. She seemed very unfazed by what had just happened until Kory brought her back to earth with his concern.

"I...I'm fine...t-thank you...Kory..." She blushed again, a cute smile escaping from her face.

Sayuka got sent flying backwards with the blows... the pain was immense. She held her ribs a bit, feeling pain from them... at the most, she suffered bruised ribs. Her spine also ached, but she fought that pain off. She wasn't going to give up. She knew her body wasn't all the way beaten down yet, though it was getting there. She felt a few of her internal injuries catching up, but tried not to pay them too much mind right now.

As she rose, she coughed up some blood from the impact to her stomach, which ran down her chin and onto the floor. Nice impact, She thought, He's fighting fiercer now. He sees how well matched we are against each other. This is good. This is very good.

Sayuka would rush in, ignoring all pain and focusing purely on fighting Orochi. The less she let the pain get to her, the better she could keep her wits about herself. She delivered a fierce leaping sidekick to his neck, then as she landed, threw a middle kick to his abdomen. Grabbing his arm, she would yank him forward for a fierce body blow to his stomach before finishing with a splitting axe kick to his jaw.

She threw out a blade of energy aimed at his chest afterwards. It would be non-lethal, of course... but it would still hurt if it hit.

Shüm looked around for a moment and realized that Rygar was gone "Uh guys...I'll be right back. I'm gonna check on Rygar, maybe buy him a hot dog or something." Shrüm walked off to backstage to check up on the guy who broke his leg...he actually hurt in places that didn't exist.'Dammit...next year I'm wearing body armor or something' "Shrüm looked back to the "couple" and whistled, "You two kids have fun now!" He walked off laughing and went to check on Rygar.

Beautiful combo. Simply beautiful. But not ... painful enough. That's it. Painful. I am so out of it. Stupid shards.
He simply took the first combo. But when he saw the blade coming, he got into a defensive stance, using his energy to send it upwards. Dashing in again, he went after her arm. He knew she was at least somewhat distracted by her internal injuries, but his bleeding was simply pissing him off. Orochi then got on his hands, launching a series of smoothly swung kicks, then locked on her right arm. Once he had a tight lock, he used his legs to force it to bend backwards. Using his left leg, he proceeded to shift his weight to allow him to go for a knee to her back then a choke hold using his forearms.
"Dammit. You made me bleed and it's only getting worse. You must really like sharp objects."

"Unngh!!" Sayuka grunted painfully, clinching her teeth hard from the blow, "Agh... w-what can I say? They don't call me the 'Human Sword' for nothing..." She held her arm... some of the muscle got twisted a bit from that attack, so it was causing her pain whenever she moved it. She was lucky not to get a fracture. She would have to be careful not to irritate it too much while fighting. He's starting to get angry... She thought then, ...hopefully, he won't get so angry that he loses focus. People who become blinded by rage are far more prone to error.

She quickly sped back over and kicked herself upwards, flip-kicking him square in the jaw before landing and sweep-kicking his legs out from under him. Rather than go for a straightforward barrage of attacks like before, she decided to try and put pressure on one of his limbs with a grapple. She quickly locked Orochi's legs up with her own, performing a well-executed leg lock. She then began to put pressure on those legs. If she got the pressure high enough, it could possibly cause her opponent enough pain to make it hard to retaliate. The limbs, after all, played a role in fighting... weaken one, and it makes it harder for the foe to fight.

Rygar, meanwhile, was resting after his own battle. He was recovering from his own injuries well enough, but still felt worn out, in a way. He was merely sitting a bench, contemplating to himself, perhaps on what to do in the meantime. He wasn't sure what was around the Arena, given that he doesn't even know where exactly he is...

He then saw Shrum approaching out the corner of his eye and turned his head in his direction to greet him, "Ah... it's you. Shrum, correct?" He asked to him.

"Ooh, that's it. You're gonna get it now~" He felt like laughing. This fight was FUN.
So, to make sure she did NOT get enough pressure, he began to start a flow of energy onto her hands when he bent over to reach. It caused an explosion that would cause some burns and definitely enough shock to generate some damage to her limbs that were grappling his legs. When he jumped back, some blood would spurt forth from his wounds, but he paid no mind. Taking a defensive stance to prepare himself for another attempt, he watched Sayuka carefully.

"Fuck," Sayuka grunted, getting up and brushing herself off after that last assault. Okay. So that was a stupid idea. I should have went for his arms. That's the last time I show pity toward him. Her arms suffered a couple burns, but not enough to stop them. She felt a little mad herself...

Sayuka lept up and drove a flipping heel drop into Orochi's shoulder just then, "ORAAA!" Upon landing she drove a fist into his stomach, then fierce spinning roundhouse kick to the side of his head. All those blows were with force. She would further observe him after her short combo ended.

"Ah... thank you," Rygar said as he took the hot dog. He examined it for a moment. He assumed it was food, just didn't know what it was called, "So this is what food is like here. What is this particular one referred to, if I may ask?"

He then continues to eat the hot dog, as he was rather famished, "It's pretty good though..."

"Heheheh... I take it you're wondering why I decided to escape the lock." Making a rather quick dash after taking such a combo, Orochi grabbed her face with a deadly grip. Slamming it into the ground to the point of her head making a hole in it, he forced her head to make a very long line before lifting it in an arc, then slamming her while making sure her spine hit the ground first. After he let her go, he walked away for a bit, cracking his knuckles.

"Not really. I could care less," She replied, then rushed in, leaping onto Orochi's shoulders and locking her thighs tight around his neck. With a fierce spin, she would twist his neck muscles, the sound of them popping before she threw her weight back and landed on her hands as she pulled Orochi with her, slamming him hard enough on the floor to crack and cave it in underneath him. She was going all out already. She then flipped off, and thrusted her knees hard into his spine before leaping away to get some distance from him and observed how he took that attack.

Straightening whatever she just HAD to dislocate, Orochi looked back at Sayuka. Spitting some blood onto the ground he looked at his opponent. She was severely damaged if not currently going to hit her limit. He simply made graceful swipes at her in close range. Each one didn't even touch her, but cut her deep. He went for her ligaments each time he swung, if she'd get cut elsewhere, she'd still get cut deep. Regardless of her next action, he did not want to release any more arcana at the moment.

Time to unleash the second most powerful attack. She thought... she was bleeding bad now, but wasn't just down yet... she gathered a large amount of her ki and psychic powers both... her body glowed a bright gold color for a least a few moments as she powered up immensely for her next attack. With the amount she needed, she leapt into the air and somersaulted... and as she did so, she created a gigantic psychic sword of energy that she rose over her head, letting out a fierce yell just before shouting the name of the attack...

"HEAVEN SWOOOORD!!!" She screamed, just before throwing the blade down with all her force. There was no where for Orochi to run, due to it's size. And it came down incredibly fast. It quickly slammed into him and blasted into his body with a great impact, hard enough to cause the ground to quake and the floor to crack under him as it knocked him to the ground. It wouldn't cut too deeply, but it'd leave a nasty scar, and likely a lot of pain. It did, however, split the floor open underneath him as well, despite it not cutting him open.

She then dispersed the sword and landed on her feet, her palms smoldering. She let out a few raspy breaths of air before relaxing. She was sweating pretty hard now... she kept her eye on Orochi to see just how much damage she did... if that wasn't enough, she'd probably have to bust out her most powerful technique...

He'd be standing, but the sword drove him at least six feet into the ground. His forearms sizzled with energy. But the recoil allowed him to analyze it. High priority and power. I'll need something better than that to fully grasp her power.
He decided to absorb some of the energy from the sword itself, using it to heal himself. He would then jump out of the hole, seemingly good as new. Swaying his index finger with a taunt aimed at her, he smiled.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Impatient are we?" Was all he said before his eyes lost their glow. His tactics of taking her information without her notice allowed him one thing. Victory.

He absorbed some of the energy from my sword... exactly what I wanted him to do... She then thought... she smiled. Orochi fell right into her trap. She had full control of that energy in every which way. It appeared to have healed him. But wait till she suddenly regained control of it... which she did.

She clinched her fist tight... and suddenly, let out a yell, "Force Crusher!!". All at once an explosion would occur from within Orochi, causing light to burst out from all over him from inside his body, enough to rupture organs, possibly. It wouldn't destroy his body outright, but it'd be enough to hurt.

"You did exactly what I wanted you to do," she said... "I have full control over that energy no matter how much you could try to absorb it into yourself. It's the ultimate counter technique.
If you still want to continue, then I'll finish this with my final technique, and this time, I guarantee you will NOT heal from it, nor absorb it."

"Tactics like that seem familiar... Have you considered the amount of traces I've left on you from my attacks at all?" His body would seem like it was cracking. But he was still in one piece and that last attack didn't exactly leave him without some scarring here and there. Orochi left his hands in his pockets then grabbed his jacket, while alchemizing a shirt. Once the shirt was complete, he'd look as if he were brand new.. LOOK, that is. His inner organs were still using the atmospheric energy to heal up, so he'd have to avoid absorbing her energy for a while. He could USE it against her, but that was as far as he went.
