I know. You're thinking, "Castlevania as a fighting game? That will never work." But it does. There are so many thing that are awsome about this game: the design, the character selection, the way it keeps series continuity.

I didn't like Obata's designs for the characters very much. Grant in particular looks really stupid to me.

To be honest, it could have been called Death nothe fighters.

However!

It actually seems pretty cool. I've always wanted to see Simon against Alucard. I might actually spend my money on this one, no matter what anyone says.

The game is pretty fun. It has its fair share of flaws, like an unbalanced roster and a semi-wonky camera, but it certainly looks nice and the special attacks are great. I'm pretty sure the biggest "flaw" that will keep Castlevania fans from buying the game is the design of the characters, but they're actually not half bad. Certainly not worth skipping the game for, at least.

This game is pretty good. The fighters sometimes are way overpowered..And their really should of been more characters and a different artist...The designs for them are fine and all but...I really liked the old designs better.

I'm not that big of a Castlevania fan, so I don't mind things most people would.
