The jacket's alot thinner than I expected, but it's perfect for the extremely hot weather at Anime Expo in July. I had the jacket custom made at http://www.cosplaykingdom.com/
The beanie fits perfectly and I was able to obtain one from Soupy, one of the forum members. You'll probably want to private message her about getting one. Let's just say it's absolutely worth every penny and I have no regrets about it.
Big thanks to Cosplay Kingdom and Soupy for making this possible! I'll probably post some actual pics of myself in the costume after Anime Expo or so. Hope to see some of you CA residents there!

I've seen fanart of him wearing the magatama around his neck; what I would suggest if you can is snag some Sculpey or Play-Doh and make the pendant, and make sure to mold in a link to slip a chain into. Sculpey needs to be painted with acrylics, but Play-Doh will just harden and be ready to use. It might crack, so fill in the cracks and smooth out with a nail file [the thick ones] and it'll work. :3

Not sure I'd actually wear sandals since I wouldn't feel comfortable driving in them. Plus being at an anime con will require so much walking that I would rather wear shoes instead.
