Despite her military attire, she was no way affiliated, other than it was her fathers, who had served in Germany. She was far from the strict prestige of being a soldier; for while not in the courtroom, or studying up on a case, a more frivilous life-style took over.
Val's 27 year old life was a new adventure each day, likes & curiosities changed everyday, she never knew where she'd end up. Today, it was a cafe.
She staggered in & took a seat beside Connor. In Germany it is custom to go & sit with anyone if there are no available seats, no questions asked from either parties; though someone wasn't sure to well of where she was exactly at the moment.
"I'll yust have a coffee for now" she called out to the proprietor, Old Man Thompson, her j in just slipping out with her heavy accent.

'Putting on his most sympathetic face, even though there was only a year age differance, Dekuran towered over the small girl in her blue uniform.
'Gd'Afternoon, Miss.' He said, leaning forward, almost teasing her, but not intentively. He chuckled 'So, what's your name?' He asked.
"I'm Jude." the 11-year-old replied.
Marissa turned to face the stranger, an angry glint in her eye.
Jude put a hand on her sister's arm. "It's okay, he's not a weird stalker or anything."
She turned back to Dekuran. "Um, are you a weird stalker? Sorry, have to make precautions."
