'allo!

Hello, I'm Operator 3. You can call me Liam or something.

I hate sundays. I can't go out and get drunk with my friends. Kinda deppressing knowing I have college tomorrow...

You know what I do instead? DRINK BY MY SELF AND LISTON TO MUSIC. Then I came up with an epic idea:

THE EPIC VIDEO GAME MUSIC COLLECTION!

So, here's what we do...

You: Submit links to your favorite epic video game music.

Me: Put it together in "albums" with cover art and everything.

All of us: Decide which music is best and goes in.

Got that? I'm sure most of the people on the forum like video game music, so it'd be fitting to get lots together. It can be from any game you want (read rules first though).

Rules:
-It can be remixed, re-mastered, origonal, 8-bit or whatever.
-Try not to submit your FAVRIT THEME FROM SOME NERUTOE GAME U PLAI OR SOMETHING. The game music can be based off an anime game but like, if the song is from the anime as well, it defeats the purpous of this.
-Try and give a direct link to the song or the page before it, if you arn't allowed to directly link. I don't really want to download .zip folders for one song, thanks.
-You may submit your own idea for album artwork, but there's no point in putting characters from a game where the music isn't even in the album.
-Have fun and stuff.

Excelent! You've got the idea. OK, so once we have a few more songs, I'll put up a list. Remember, feel free to say what you do and don't like about it.

I was thinking, maybe, if I do get enough songs, I'll split them into seperate albums, for example: Battle Theme Collection, or something like that.

One more piece of advice that I might as well give you, COULD help make song searching a little easier:

This Site has helped me get songs that I eventually saw were taken down, such as a song I also want to put on the list, Queen Bella's Ball: Hard Ver. from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.

This might be the most "Current" song posted thus far... Heh...

KH Insider and Galbadia Hotel, which seem to have almost every video game song in existance, are being shit. Broken links, files not downloading, etc, etc. I can't seem to obtain ANYTHING from them.

If you do submit a song, TRY and give me a link that you know works. Sorry about that!

I'm trying to track down these songs so far anyway. :godot:

So far, I'm just ripping the YouTube videos but it takes ages.

Gameboy music FTW, I think I'll put in some epic battle themes from those old RPGs on the GBC.

Oh, and thank you everyone for your contributions. I've done some hunting and found a few of these but they arn't on this computer. When I go back home (On Thursday I think) I'll list at the top what I've got. I'm also gonna make a cover and back (crediting everyone who contributed). Please, like I said before, help me out by giving me links to the music. Some of this stuff is REALLY hard to find. :sadshoe:

I'm also going to contribute alot myself, which I forgot to mention before. I have tonnes of 8 and 16 bit musics if that's your thing. :godot:

I have all the old Red and Blue themes (from when I tried to make a R/B/Y style Pokemon game, cuz I hate the new ones) SO if you want those, I'll happily throw in the ones you want.

I'm also gonna do a HUEG Snes music thingy, which involves me... dragging snes songs over to the album... But they're all epic, so don't worry.

Tomorrow, I'm going to a party, should be home by 3AM in London, England, making it about 10PM in most of USA? Really not sure to be honest, correct me if I'm wrong. Don't worry, I'm nocturnal, I'll sleep the next day. All the songs I've collected so far will be up there. :godot:
