Hey there! Long time listener, first time caller. ...Actually, I was perfectly content with being a lurker, but my image collection was becoming a little too big to not share.

So yeah, these are pieces of fanart I've collected over the past few months. I've taken out anything I think I got from Mia_Fey's ZOMG HUEG (but quality!) collection, so this should be the first time most of these pictures have been on these forums.

...Also I obsess over Hatsune Miku in this update. At least it's not completely irrelevant. :D

^^ Franziska looks surprisingly normal as a schoolgirl. I guess she is 17, though. Also, Franz cosplaying as Hatsune Miku is ridiculously cute (much to the chagrin of normal-Franz.)

...Hmm? Who's Hatsune Miku? Well, for starters, here's a picture. Hatsune is a mascot for the voice-generation software Vocaloid2 (really, vocal-generation software, as it's meant to make vocals for songs.) Think Microsoft Narrator, but much more natural-sounding... not to mention much more expensive. Each different voice in Vocaloid2 has its own character to go along with it. Hatsune Miku, being the first "Japanese female" voice to be released, is by far the most popular, though. Unfortunately, being a Japanese voice, she can't naturally be made to sing English lyrics. It's not impossible- you have to use Japanese syllables to make English-sounding words- but it gets a bit garbled. If it's done right, though, in my opinion the "accent" only adds to her adorableness...

...Ah, what am I babbling about? Just listen to her, already. :garyuu:

If it's any consolation, I'd do it if I actually had any drawing skills... really, though, you'll have to look somewhere else. I wish I'd taken notes on where I got which fanart... there might be watermarks on one or two of them, though, so you can track down the artists.
