Apparently, this game has been out in Japan for a while as a completely free game; Aeria Games only began the open beta release in the US on Dec. 27.

It's basically the same you've learned to expect from a MegaTen game, but online and with lots of new and sometimes strange features. I downloaded it, and although my connection booted me, the game seems to feel pretty good.

You can download it here and then post here your comments on the game.

Ah yes this game, I was able to play it during closed Beta, it is quite fun and more deep then the other free MMO's you find these days, good set up, setting, many things to do that isnt always the typical. I say give it a try!

It sounds amazing to me...It looked rather good to me......BUT I have yet to play it so...I can't put a real comment...I hope I can play it soon.

Was playing a bit until a few minutes. The game handles fine, although like with all MMORPGs, some tasks get horribly repetitive after a while, not to mention some monsters tend to be rather uncooperative, especially the pixie leaders near the beginning of the game. >_>

I kinda expected that would happen. But still, that wont Deter me! Now I have to wait till the Blackout at my area is fixed before I actually download and play it.....

I played it for a month, its a fun MMORPG but I do agree that it does get really repetitive and when you get to level 20 it takes forever to level up.

I've had a go at it, it's pretty polished so far, but does have it's flaws.
The controls are fairly good, although using WASD takes some getting used to. The camera is ok, but after using some attacks it can become a little dodgy, ( dash comes to mind)
also the demon A.I is a bit odd at the moment, sometimes attacking when you don't tell it to, and yet sometimes not doing anything when make it use a command.
So far it's quite challenging for a mmorpg, but as I'm not very far I can't really judge on it's overall difficulty.

So wait, this a full MMORPG, but it's also free? It's going to stay free as well? It's the "open beta" part that worries me. I guess you can buy premium items and stuff then?

I've been playing for a while, and it's pretty fun. Some of the small intricacies bother me, but other than that, it's great. I'm a huge megaten game fan, and was overjoyed when I heard Imagine was coming to the states. I had heard it bombed in japan, that's why Aeria was able to pick it up and make it a free game.

Overall, I'm enjoying it, me and my Jack Frost are getting along just fine.

It was basically a generic MMO with a thin Megaten coating.

First thing I did was try to reproduce my favorite character from Type-Moon, only to find out the limited choice of clothing and names wasn't going to let me be able to. D:
