Phoenix Wright Case Editor Released (... In Japanese)
Bearing in mind that my Japanese consists of the ability to say hello, talk about where a boy is in relation to a car or plane there is little of this page I actually understand... but I do know that this is a Phoenix Wright Case Editor, created by Capcom themselves!
After a brief and somewhat challenging registration process I was able to access the 6 stage process of creating a case file for everyone's favorite outlandish law adventure title. The entire platform is centered around a flash based interface.
From what I've gathered, you're only able to make a story in the courtroom portion of the game, so no point and click adventure designing folks. Players name their case, pick the actors and create a time-line based court room battle. The best part of this is that you can embed the finished case in anything that accepts flash objects.
My brief experiment produced the flash video above. Once I figure out how this thing works you best believe that I'm going to be flooding MySpace friend comments with these things. We can only hope that they localize this, because it is simply too cool not to share with the rest of the world.
Phoenix Wright Case Editor [PC Saiban]
Babelfish Translator for those of us that don't speak Japanese.
Note: Babelfish produces very broken english.
