It seems like the only thing I do on this thread is tell people that their images aren't working.

Ooh, pretty mask! It seems like all the Godot cosplayers are using the same vest. Not that I blame them - it's perfect! You make a very -cool- Godot - I think the word is "aloof." I would suggest brushing the hair back more, though.

Hey, nice picture xD
That's the first time I've seen a Diego cosplay... I believe it's 'easier' to cosplay Godot, because since his mask hides almost half of his face, even people who don't look like him at all can, at least, look a lot like Godot ^^ (Except that the mask is THE difficult part xD)
That's probably why most people chose to cosplay as Godot over Diego...

The Diego on this pic looks really nice, except that his hair is a bit too dark (I think) ^^
And did nobody ever go to Miami or any other sunny place for at least a month before cosplaying Godot/Diego ? xD
Because all people cosplaying those characters had quite pale skin... but as far as Godot/Diego are concerned, The Tigre is the only PW character more tanned ! :gant: (I know, they're not really tanned, I believe they're mexican, right ?)

Thank you very much and about the sax... not yet lol. I'm actually learning from scratch pretty much to play Godot's Theme at Megacon this year. Being a brass player for 9 years and just picking up and trying to play woodwind and Eb Alto Saxophone on top of that... NIGHTMARE!!! lol. I really want to keep my word though man. I can't bring shame to Godot lol

Ahh well thats awesome that you're learning it. I always find myself wishing I could play an instrument, haha. Sax for Godot, tons of piano songs, guitar for a different costume of mine. Good luck :D

Nobody told me how sweaty it would be under that mask.

I was the Godot at Katsucon 15 on Friday--pictures coming soon.

Haha I was more annoyed at the fact that I was at a beautiful crystal blue beach setting durring Anime South when I did Godot and ALL I could see was red... red everywhere... I know Godot can't see red but man wearing that mask was annoying at times lol (and on top of that if your mask lights up in the dark its annoying if you have them on... like I had to >_< haha)

Can't wait to see the pictures ! I'm sure they'll turn out good right ?! :godot:

First post yay...

I was Godot at a local anime convention this weekend, and I used this topic for a lot of inspiration. I only got one kind of bad picture of just myself, but here's that...

Spoiler:

I didn't order a wig in time, so next convention will be better. Still, comments/constructive criticism anyone? I wanna make the costume the best I can, so yeah :3

Carrying on this thread in a slightly different way, I'm a female- any ideas for a female cosplaying Godot? Should I go for the beard at all? I frankly love the excuse of drinking 17 cups of coffee a day and not being growled at for over doing it (I was in character you idiots ;) )

Most of the costume shouldn't be too hard... just adapting it. I've done Ema Sky and Feeny before, but Godot is a bit more manly than Feeny XD

yukiru, the hair is funny))). Kazzu posted here earlier about making your mask reflective so that people can't see your eyes. Try to find that.

Arkillian, we discussed this earlier, and came up with...nothing. Now that you're here, we can try again. I wouldn't do a beard - it's kind of creepy. You're right, the costume isn't too hard. The biggest problem, I think, is the hair - do Godot hair? or just leave it down? or find a hairstyle that's both long and spikey?

There was a not-too-bad Godot crossplay earlier in the topic, I thought...they just kept the hair long and wore a black skirt instead of pants; I thought that worked nicely.

Well here's take two of my Godot costume...I did get my wig this time, and I added the reflectiveness factor. Also the vest is now pinstriped :godot: Turned out loads better in my opinion.

Here's a picture of me with a giant Kon cosplayer!

I think I may as well contribute my 2 pence to this discussion!

I ony recently constructed my own Godot Visor out of Wonderflex. And for those wondering, its an absolute dream to work with!

Various pictures here: http://cosplayisland.com/costume/view/8359

Im also implementing a special circuit which is currently being soldered up. Any electronics gurus out there will be able to tell me exactly just what THIS circuit will do!

Oh man- I wish I could come to America and see all these Godot cosplays in person- I'd totally glomp every single one of you :pearl-blush: *preens pencil- it's as close as I get to seeing a Godot cosplay IRL T.T*

New Zealand has a very smal PW cosplay group :( I've seen a few Phoenixs, a Gumshoe, I myself have done Feenie and Ema Skye (AJ1- not at the same time mind you), and others rumoured to do others, but never a Godot. I think I'd die in happiness if I ever saw one :godot:

I'm probably a bit tardy to the party but...

I wanted to know? Could someone hopefully tell me where I would hide the excess Elwire and it's battery once I make the Godot mask?

Please and thanks.
