Looks like it'll be like the first game where they show the murderer right off the bat in the intro for a case or two.
EDIT: I'm surprisingly liking the sprite movement a lot as opposed to just seeing one character art come and go.
EDIT 2: ZOMG PROSECUTOR'S BADGE ACTUALLY APPEARS! It looks so fancy compared to the Defence's.

It really isn't too difficult to play it even if you don't know any japanese, at least up until the "cross-examination". The demo is really basic stuff, like putting two-and-two together.
The spoiler rule for GK is in effect, though I'd think that a topic about a demo for the game would be an obvious place to avoid if you don't want to deal with spoilers.
