Me and TurnaboutBoosie are cosplaying Pearl and Maya for an upcoming con, and we're having a problem with finding an accurate pattern for their pink-ish dresses they were under the purple jackets.

I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites with patterns like these?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't have any tips, but I would LOVE to see how the Pearls costume comes out. I've never seen anyone cosplay Pearl :sadshoe:

I'd figure they'd pretty much a sleeveless robe.

I tried to look up a patterns but no luck. it';s not so different from Kimono patterns I'd wager.

Well, I found a kimono pattern online, it'll have to be modified a bit but it's better than nothing.

And Pearls, I'll definitely post pictures when our costumes are finished! :pearl:

Probably because most people are too old to cosplay as an 8 year old girl. :pearl:

For Pearl's hair, I suggest you get it done by hiring a professional hairstylist for the event.

Snake, I've seen it used multiple times in various places, so I'm assuming it's a well-known traditional hairstyle. The only problem is that I don't know what it's called - Tekken called it "Angel Hair," but that doesn't give any useful results on Google.

I might get it styled for the con, but odds are not since I'm poor xD
If other people wanna know how to do it, I might just buy a wig so I can make a wig tutorial or something...

If anyone knows like, the official name of the hairstyle that'd be great xD

Well, as you can see, there's a Pearl Hairstyle tutorial up on the forums (ONE WHICH I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR *happy tears*), so I guess there's no need for me to do one. xD
