Little Details on our 1-1 Victim.

Byrd's Redesign looks surprisingly dark to me.

A TON of sprites in the rips are broken like this. It'll be difficult to create an archive methinks.

Okay, Tutorial time.

First, make sure you have the following on your machine

Apple's Safari Web Browser
A Download Manager of your Choice
And of course, a Flash ripper

First, there's a reason I say Safari in particular. Many Browsers including FireFox have Media Managers. Safari however is the only one I'm aware of that shows you the SWF files that are loading within the SWF.

Copy that list, and then paste it into your download manager...

And wait for the files to download.

Next, is the ripping application. I currently use Flash Decompiler. It's more reliable then the generic file rippers. Send the files in one by one and extract the images and sound files you want.

Also, keep an eye on the scripts. Safari gave you a head start regarding the SWF files, but if Flash hasn't loaded a SWF, Safari isn't going to report it. Reading the scripts is a good way to catch missed or potentially dummied resources.

Next is the painstakingly monotonous process of selecting each file you want and exporting it. But I'm sure from here on out it's easy enough.

Actually, just after I finished my tutorial, I realized I missed the mini-sprites, and locations and such. I'll let you handle this so I'm not stealing all the credit for this =)

EDIT: Here's the first one, whipped up real quick. If someone could get me the timing for them I should be able to do them all tonight. Even without it I can do it, but they'll be a bit fast/slow.

Managed to animate a few of Edgey's sprites...if in a slightly slipshod manner.
They aren't spoiler sprites. Just his usual arms crossed/pointing/confident poses.
