Hi there,
I'm new here. I've come to this section of the forum to start my own case, in most likely PWLib. I'm going to, just to challenge myself, make an example of GS1's 1-2 case. From there, I'll probably make several more cases and I can almost guarantee that my cases will be finished quite fast due to the amount of time I have a home. This case-making business is very interesting to me as I've played Ace Attorney in the past and have enjoyed the new, exciting genre it contains.

What do you mean by "make an example"?

Well you should think of a good fangame idea :godot:

I think making 1-2 again would be slightly pointless, as you could get a lot more out of an riginal case, but it might be useful to get you familiar with PWlib :phoenix:

CUT: I think he means to remake it ao he can get used to the program :yuusaku:

Thing is, you might run into some... copyright issues, reproducing large parts of the original games like that. Plus, there's no real benefit from the investment of your time in recreating it, really.

Just like the others said - Create your own game and practise with that, it's way better.

I would have to agree with everyone here. You should not create Case 1-2. the ONLY reason I produced and released Case 1-1 is because it is the tutorial case for the series and only that, in essence, a demo. Luring people to the series by allowing them to experience the first episode by themselves without an expense. You would be surprised how many times this marketing ploy works.

Besides it's very unlikely that anybody here will appreciate the amount of work you will be ultimately putting into it, not because their blind or anything, but because they want to protect their favorite series of game by trying to prevent pirating, which is ultimately what this could turn into.
If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!

If you make it, and don't release, no problem.

The issues begins if you do release it.

But as DDRKhat, you should NOT do it.
