But seriously, I like Tinker's idea. This game seems like (with the lack of defendant to prove innocent) Edgey could take on someone big. Eh, but even if it's just 4 or 5 unrelated cases it'll still be cool.
But I actually hope they DON'T do the whole FIRST CASE VILLAIN THEN RETURNS AS FINAL BOSS approach again. Much as I still like 3-5 and 4-4, I still think 1-4 and 2-4 (and 1-5 though whether that should be counted as a final case or it's own game I don't know) were stronger cases in themselves.

In other words, some unethical person within the prosecutor's office. No matter what, I can't seem to get myself to think that it's going to be some defense attorney.I mean, I guess it could be a witness too, we've had plenty of them before as "Final bosses." I just think that, with Gyakuten Kenji's different direction on the ace attorney world, it'd only make sense to handle the final confrontation and the "Final boss" in a different manner as well.

In the partner discussion thread, the idea was brought up that the 4 ppl in the background (Gummy, Franzy, Rou, and...Keygirl >.<) would be your partners. Of course if Rou was your partner, then that would mean something has happened to Sheena... so if Sheena was captured, it would basically be 2-4 again, but from Edgy's point of view (someone else's sidekick is kidnapped, not yours). Also if that happened, then the overarching storyline would probably be about Rou and why he hates prosecutors and coming to accept them.
ANYWAY, I want some sort of connecting/overarching storyline, but don't really want the first and last boss to be the same.
