No court scenes = no prosecutors vs. defense attorneys = no defense attorney (if the prosecutor is the one investigating, unlike in AA)
I don't think that you will meet anyone outside of court (as far as a defense attorney) because of all the other people you have to talk to. Someone might popup who is a defense attorney, but they won't play that role in the game.

I agree with that argument. In Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice, the prosecution already had an assigned suspect of the case and the DA only had to talk to him and make him his client. But in this game, we have to find a suspect.
