I need MAJOR help with Diego Armando/Godot's vest

So, i hope to cosplay Diego Armando, and i need massive help with the vest. I have nobody that I know who can sew one for me, and I can't sew for crap. I've been trying to find one for oh-so-long, and i'm beginning to lose hope. Basically, what I'm saying is, I need a vest, and if possible, ideas on how to make his armband thingamijggers. :javado:

It is NOT easy to reproduce a waistcoat. More than likely you're on your own for that. Finding one is much easier but like I said, not easy. Just the raw materials are enough to fetch an undesirable price. :garyuu:

Maybe try http://simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=2870 (Simplicity 2870) or http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M2447 ... s&page=all (McCall's 2447) I'm not very good with menswear, but those two seem to have basically the correct cut and they are the only ones I found that have the correct darts.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I hope I can find patterns like these here in Germany though, would reduce the cost.

I've actually seen Diego styled vests in stores pattern and everything... Except... Well, the front pattern was on the back, and the front was all black...
