It's not so much this generation than this particular year. It's either sequels of games I didn't play nor really care about, or games that simply don't strike my fancy. SH2 wasn't quality gaming - but it was a fun little JRPG if nothing else. The first one was better though. And Koudelka, as much as it had a lot problems, was better overall.
As you can see I'll settle for little so long as I actually get something out of it and I get nothing out of the current year.
But I'm lame like that.

Even better if it's the NES version's style with the others' gameplay. Strider 2 was boss (even though it was too easy).

Well I loved it at least, its definitely 9/10 material. It does have flaws, but I enjoyed both the gameplay, the characters, the story and the humour. Its not perfect, but I really enjoyed it whilst it lasted.
