Which is strange, because Maya doesn't have the superhero tenure her mother had, and given Misty's disappearance, Mia wouldn't have known about the Steel Samurai, either. And if Maya had known about the Steel Samurai from Morgan, that would be a problem for how exactly Pearl and Maya escape her notice. It doesn't make sense for Maya to go to the Steel Samurai for help.
It does make sense for Maya to seek out one of her sister's friends, as she did in the original game. With Diego out of the question, that leaves Grossberg and Phoenix.
Also, given that Kurain and Hazakura are supposedly under Morgan's control, Maya has nowhere else to go herself. It's not like we can magically hand-wave her away and turn her into a children's book artist, can we? It would make sense, again, for her to seek help from friends such as Phoenix.
TLDR: Maya and Pearl and Phoenix and Trucy are a weird and happy family THE END.

As for the Steel Samurai, its possible that Misty met Will Powers before and might told Maya that something bad happens, call him. Of course, you wouldn't want Morgan to tell about the Steel Samurai because that will take her less than a month to find out where Pearls and Maya are.
As for Maya's whereabouts, she can be anywhere. The best place would be any city and if Dahlia and Iris(and possibly Mime) are close to her, Maya could give them a false lead and get away safely.
~Those are my ideas and thoughts, don't take it seriously.
One more thing: Can all the three magatama detect each other or know who's channeling?

Even so, one has to wonder whether Misty would keep such secrets from Morgan, much less Mia or Maya. Considering their parents' disappearance, it would be awful hard to have them distrust their aunt, especially for such a long period of time. The depths of the betrayals in 2-2 and 3-5 were supposed to be surprises, not expected conspiracies. And the superpower potential for the Fey family isn't exactly secret...
And, again, a lot of Maya's connections to other characters is through her following Mia and finding Phoenix. I think we shouldn't break from this, considering her status as a major character. In the original games, she had the excuse of training in Kurain, but we don't have that option in SMako, do we?
Even if we did change Morgan's base of operations to a rebuilt Kurain and had Maya find refuge in Hazakura, Hazakura is supposed to be controlled by the Fey family, albeit remotely.

And on that note, we will always have room for OCs, but they will have to go through an extremely rigorous process, and creative input on them will have to be taken from the entire team, not just the creator. Being OCs, adding them to the story can be a dangerous prospect, as it can unnecessarily clash with or add to the existing frameworks. We've made a number of revisions (and even cuts) to make OCs work with the SMako canon, and try to avoid doing the reverse. You can see our unofficial OC policy here.

Its not rare for projects/RPs to be really strict about OCs. Mary Sues happened alot often on fanfics too. I suppose I can give a try. I made a PW fanfic about my OC, trying not to make a Gary Stu.

Mister Hawthorne's involvement with Interpol's affairs has a number of ways it can be implemented. The empirical facts we have about him are: he is the father of Dahlia and Iris, he left Morgan Fey and remarried Valerie's mother, and he is a jewel merchant.
What if Mister Hawthorne was a criminal?
Hawthorne might be involved in less-than-ethical practices in his jewel trade; for example, laundering conflict diamonds. This would place him on Interpol's target list... and possibly be used as leverage by Redd White against Valerie.
What if Mister Hawthorne stole magic gems from the Feys?
This would give Hawthorne leverage and funding in the criminal underworld, and make him an asset to villains, as well as a criminal. Again, this could be used as blackmail against Valerie, but it adds another layer as Hawthorne might be in cahoots with White to begin with.
What about Hawthorne's relationship with the Feys?
For all intents and purposes he seems to be removed from them now, especially since he didn't deprive Morgan of her two elder daughters. However, given the emotional strains between Dahlia and Morgan, there's no telling what could happen if he appeared in their lives again.

And still haven't received much feedback on the Phoenix and Maya issue. Personally, I'm still for moving Pearl and Maya in with Phoenix and Trucy. (And we will still have to reconnect Miles, Phoenix, and Larry)

Mia is killed by Dahlia, who returns to Kurain and attempts to cover her tracks by destroying Kurain, hopefully killing Maya in the process, but Maya escapes with Pearl and the blue magatama, leading Morgan to believe that, while successful, Pearl was also lost, but Maya drops Pearl off with Powers and then disappears forever to hide from Morgan THE END.

There haven't been many solid connections between the Fey family and other groups, even for Morgan Fey herself. The only solid connection is Mime, who works directly for Morgan.
There has been some talk about having Morgan and Manfred allied somehow, but we haven't considered all the potential scenarios for that yet. There was one idea where Morgan having all Magatama in her possession would grant her some sort of power she would then unite with Manfred's. Given the current version of history where Manfred and Misty were enemies, this could be the way to go.
The reintroduction of Mister Hawthorne may offer more possibilities depending on the circumstances of his departing Kurain (magic jewels, anyone?).
And FYI, Regina is modestly proportioned.

Of course, I dunno if Morgan knows about the world because the last time we heard, she's stuck in the Hazakura Temple while Mime and the twins move out to do what they need to do. I didn't know if Dahlia and Iris have been to the city where Makato and her friends are.
What I can think about Maya's whereabouts now is the city. You prefer that she should be with Pearls, Trucy and Phoenix, but does Maya ever contact Pearls years after the Destruction of Kurain Village?

In the wake of Mia's death and the subsequent dissolution of Grossberg's unit, Maya and Phoenix console each other. When Maya discovers Dahlia's involvement in Mia's death, and the danger posed by Morgan herself, Maya takes Pearl away with her to seek refuge with someone trustworthy, and of whom Morgan would have little knowledge: Phoenix Wright.
Pearl will still be Will Powers' apprentice, and she will also have Maya and Phoenix to look up to.

Remember that Dahlia and Iris can switch identities, so in the future we'll see them swapping wardrobes pretty often.
The military dress on Mia really parallels Lana. It's a shame we don't have them connected in the storyline yet—that's something I would really like to do.
Can't wait to see the casual clothes you make for Maya.
With the sexy designs you made for these girls, I'm a little anxious to see what you come up with for the older women. XD

Love the designs! Especially Pearl - as much as I love the pure schoolgirl outfit, it seems more fitting to me to have something that's more reminiscent of the Pink Princess design. I think you've captured it nicely.

Now, according to the timeline, Lana is 2 years Mia's senior. Mia is 29 when she is killed in the Borginia Incident, and is 25 when SL-6 disbands. That's at least 11 years in Mia's adult life for her to have gotten familiar with Lana in school, law, and their respective careers. It doesn't seem like Mia became a proper superhero, instead going off to join the military, but she may have supported Lana, who had honed her magical abilities. What say you?
By the way, Pie, if we're going to implement Neil as Saber Rider, we may want to rethink the whole "Indian mysticism" bit. (It never made sense to me how the Marshall brothers would get a hold of it but not the Dinglings, anyways) And if only Jake got it, why not Neil? Or if Neil used it after all, how? The thing is, Saber Rider isn't really a "super" hero... he's just a guy with a sword, space armor, and a robotic horse.
Unless Neil's "Spirit" power was some kinda magic saber. I SEE YOUR SCHWARZ IS AS LONG AS MINE.

- Ini Miney and Mo Miney. Though they may play no active part in the story, their information is there as they are existing people in Super Makoto.
- Ami Fey: Because historical figures are people, too.
Interesting thing I realized about the Mime Demon is that its relationship with Mimi must be a strained one. Personally, I think Mimi wants to return to a normal life, and her being bound to the mask until she dies is a source of major frustration and angst.
Also made small edits to Morgan Fey's profile to highlight how she manipulates Dahlia's and Iris' emotions.
Made changes to the timeline of events:
- Super Makoto -? moved up to precede SM -40 in order to be in line with...
- Super Makoto -24, which now includes information for The Rebellion against Manfred von Karma. One of the most important events in Super Makoto now has a wiki entry! Hooray!
- Super Makoto -8 and -6 have two new backstory events, because minor characters deserve love, too: the Closing of Big Berry Studios and Mimi's Assassination
Chatted with Pie about the possibility of involving Acro and Bat (possibly the rest of the circus crew) with Big Berry Studios. Perhaps Acro was a disgruntled side character that failed to make a successful spinoff. Maybe Bat played the part of a "villain" in Lucky's show and got zapped by her trademark Love Shock.
Speaking of people who need character profiles of their own, we have yet to name Papa Gavin. Here are some names I personally like... but remember, this may be subject to change if the Gavin family is detailed in future games. We can always edit the wiki if that time comes. And yes, sticking with the "KG" initials just to be stupid.
- Kalvin - a thin reference to Calvin & Hobbes
- Kaspar - better known as Jasper or Casper, one of the Biblical Three Wise Men
- Klemens - "gentle" might describe Papa Gavin's personality, at least compared to Troia
- Konstantin - "constancy" again might describe his personality
- Korbinian - for coolness factor; it means "raven"
- Korbl - short for Korbinian

I'd love to continue--having improved [slightly], actually played the Orange Box (and finally getting all those silly references youse guys tend to put in here), mellowed out as far as the Meekins obsession (read: bias), moved onto another fandom, come back occasionally, then decided I could use something to work on over the summer; I was hoping I would have the chance to contribute.

Well, going along the "missing parents" thread, Regina Berry is another superchild who lost her parents at an early age. Perhaps Gant has something to do with that, too? And then perhaps going a step further and organizing the downfall of Russell Berry and Big Berry Studios, which regularly takes in budding (and orphaned) superheroes and reformed villains... Maybe he recruits the embittered Acro into his cause, as well, and has further plans for Lucky (Regina)?

I've been wondering about the arrangement of the Fey family. Does Pearl know where her mother is? What does Maya tell Pearl about Morgan? There are so many questions, but I can answer only so many of them on my own!
Why can't Morgan find Pearl?
I'm sure the Fey family would be important to the government on some level, but probably not on the intimate level that they were in the games: Maya obviously doesn't have government protection in our scenario, and Morgan certainly couldn't have government assistance... that would make finding Pearl, even without the worldwide web, too easy, because of their close proximity to Phoenix Wright, who is now a CIA agent under Lisa Basil.
Maybe one aspect is that Pearl isn't allowed to have a normal social life like most teens, because in the future, if she showed up anywhere on the internet and such, she could easily be tracked down by Morgan's agents. So she and Maya live a very simple and ascetic existence fitting of Kurain acolytes. This also leads to them borrowing Phoenix's DVD player on a regular basis. So not being wired as most kids in her generation are, Pearl could be somewhat awkward to be around, especially for a nerdy guy like Cody Hackins...
But I was wondering, what if the CIA did have some interest in Maya Fey, and asked Phoenix to keep an eye on her?
At the same time, Mime is keeping an eye on Pearl...

Speaking of nerdy guys, how about the Guildmaster, Sal Manella? What kind of power does he have? He's a raid leader for a bunch of other nerdy guys up to no good. Maybe it's mind control. Maybe it's witchcraft... Dee Vasquez, anyone? Eager to have a rogue third party do her dirtier work for her, Dee could easily manipulate a weak-minded man like Sal Manella into acting as her lieutenant. Instead of using the Cadaverini's assets (which would draw suspicion) she uses the Guildmaster to collect special items and artifacts for her as she amasses eldritch power.
So what are Dee's plans? Oh, you know, there's always the virgin sacrifice bit... especially if said virgin were the heir of a magically powerful bloodline... and the other potential heir probably isn't a virgin... *cough*

Oy--I am taking a transient break from being one of them. I use "fandom" in a metaphorical sense--that is to say, I would "be in it"/participate if I had more time (although I do recently and temporarily), however I certainly have a large amount of interest. Right now, this applies both to my "new" one (in quotations because I've really been in it a few months) and Phoenix Wright--SMako in particular. But that is magnanimously pleasing to hear! I've always wondered how the heck Sal fit into all of this, seeing as the last time I checked the Wiki (and I will admit, it has been a few months, due to school and life), it was almost completely blank. I do see him as a lackey role--but a very beneficial one for Dee.

Atmey is just a "neutral" villain right now, sort of a mercenary and caught up in all this while he makes a dime off of the conflicts. He's Regina's and Max's employer after Big Berry Studios closes.

Maya and Pearl were adorably inept concerning modern technology in the original games, and I think it'd be funny to carry that over into SMako when they're older. They really aren't like normal people!

Don't worry about PChat, hardly anyone has time for it during the normal school year. I think, barring summer classes and travels, people should be coming back around the same time you are.
