However, I can't find anything on the internet supporting that.
Also Gold and Silver were released in November 1999 in Japan, so yeah, it HAS been almost ten years.

Only way they'll get me to part with more money than I already have is to release a multi console (PS3/360/Wii) 3rd person action RPG of ALL the regions with ALL the Pokémon. Ruby/Sapphire's Hoenn region is my personal favourite, Kyogre is toooo awesome. Imagine Surfing him in this 3d game I am suggesting with HD. Win. In my mind at least.

I can't wait to use the radio to lure the legendary Dogs ( or what ever the hell they are)... Even though they were annoying to catch them the radio station I used was very relaxing... I wonder what they'll do about the radio?
I wonder if they'll be able to fit more than 2 regions?...... I wonder if Red/Blue will be the last hidden trainer/Boss....

We don't know anything beyond this;
- The games include everything the original Gold and Silver games had (radio station, Pokegear, etc)
- They will have all of the updates made to the series since the original release (changes to battle system, graphics, etc)
- There will be additional content made for the rerelease, but what it is hasn't been announced yet
Aside from that, there hasn't been any other information. We probably won't know until either the announcement from Pokemon Sunday, or the article coming in the next issue of CoroCoro.

But I know that if I do, I'm only gonna get bored and stop playing halfway through. Red Version is the only one I've ever played all the way through, 'cause it was novel and interesting the first time. Trying to play some of the others (Yellow and Pearl to be specific) they just seemed repetitive and dull...
Then again I never tried the Gold/Silver generation... >>
