For those who don't know, it's named for the comic strip of the same name. It's got the same notoriety as South Park for talking about stuff people don't usually wanna touch. Comedy Central doesn't seem to wanna have two controversial shows with kids as the main characters for some reason; you can catch The Boondocks on Adult Swim.

Aaron McGruder, the creator of The Boondocks (the TV series, which BTW is gonna have a Season 3, thank god) mentioned in the commentary he did for Season 1's DVD set (I have Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD) that if South Park were to do some of the stuff they covered it wouldn't be a problem with the lawyers (for Comedy Central). I wonder why? Hmm.

Anywho, The Boondocks has 2 banned episodes (Season 2, both of which were included with the DVD set Uncensored and Uncut), one of which couldn't be aired because of how BET is portrayed, the other because they give a certain character freedom to speak reverse racism even though he himself is the race he's speaking against.

I just wanna know if there's a following of The Boondocks here XD

I only watched some of it. Though right now I can't watch CN at all without a box. Nice BS about the satellite crap saying oh cable owners are alright yet I can't get CN anymore.

Also, don't take EVERYTHING you "learn" from The Boondocks seriously. The MLK episode, for example follows a ~What if he was alive?" scenario.

If you live in a small town then obviously, I don't have to tell you people aren't as stupid as the people of Woodcrest, lol.
