"Alright then listen up...you first turned up on our doorstep, so to speak, after the accident. You already knew how to use your powers, and you seemed eager to be of help so you were welcomed in. You became a spy for us, and you've been invaluable. The last time I saw you was when you had been given a mission to spy on the enemy, but then you kind of...disappeared for about three months. Then you show up back here, no memory."
Aria digested this information and felt that she remembered all of that now, up until the mission. She couldn't remember what had happened on the mission, though.
"So, you don't know why I...disappeared?"

Carmen: ~Rest area, bar~
At Dies' outburst, the room suddenly tensed, Carmen included. She didn't know the psychic very well outside of rumors whispered in the halls. They had only met once before but even then, she couldn't help but wonder how mouthing off (verbosely yet) to the superior would turn.
Surprisingly though, her thoughts were unfounded when Zarran merely stepped to the side.
Around her, the underlying fear and apprehension at the appearance of their leader turned to puzzlement. Whispers began building in the bar about this action and why their leader, the leader, had so easily bowed to an action that could have read of insolence. The former topic of the fight to the appearance of Zarran to this action certainly had an effect of shifting the room's interests fast.
Ethan: ~Cell 133, security center~
Ethan didn't remember the next few moments after Carmen left very well. One moment, he was blearily watching the faint traces of light from the crack in the door, the next someone was speaking with a fluid cheerfulness that matched the force of a waterfall.
"...Healing in the Legion is more of a torture device than a mercy, ya know? Last week I got asked to heal some guy's hands after they mutilated them. The end result was pretty nasty, I dunno what happened to him after that but his hands were something out of a horror movie after that. Not that we'll be doing that today, nope, you get the good stuff this time."
Ethan's eyes fluttered open in pain as he felt his fingers suddenly straightened and set back into place. Even the dim light hurt his eyes but it granted him a brief view of the person in front of him. It was a kid, had to be fourteen or fifteen with a shock of blond hair and a mess of piercing.
"Try to stay conscious, this shouldn't hurt too badly," the kid reassured him. "Now, I'm just going to be speeding up the recovery your own body could do on it's own but instead of about-several months?-it'll all be over in a few minutes."
The kid took his hands (still cuffed) into both his hands and stared at them with half-lidded eyes. For a moment, nothing happened, but then with steady, dizzying acceleration warm waves moved beneath the skin, drawing a slight gasp from Ethan. It felt so good. Then, as soon as it was there he felt it end as the kid pulled away with a bright smile.
"There, that wasn't too bad, was it? Just so you know, if this is like some of Rookwood's other methods this won't be the only time we meet up. She's very partial to finger breaking-"
No shit.
"But she never gets healing in a mangled bunch like some other guys. It's always full time heal or none at all. But then again, she's done it a few times to the point where the body can no longer produce the cells or energy needed to heal and then she just...well, the show has gotta go on and all that but that's only with the real stubborn guys. No pressure though. Anyway, see ya, though I kinda hope we don't."
And like that, the kid ended the one-sided conversation and disappeared out the door.
Ethan blinked into the darkness. Gingerly, he attempted to curl his fingers. They were working again. The rest of his body still ached and his throat felt like it was on fire but at least he had his hands again.
He let himself slide back against the wall. How long had he been out? How much longer did he have before things started up again? He had mouthed off that rant at Carmen mostly out spite induced from dizziness but the more he thought about it, the more he realized it probably helped give him some time. Carmen had changed a lot but infuriatingly, it was the small, personal things about her that hadn't changed. Fortunately, if that held true, then she would be wasting a lot of time chewing over what he had said. Carmen didn't like unknown elements when she dove into something, she never did. She'd dither over things and try and figure it out before she couldn't put it off anymore and went back to the torture session.
Until then, he could only hope someone else (preferably uninformed about him) came by first.
He closed his eyes and breathed slow, calming breaths. The dull ache around his wrists where the cuffs had mercilessly chaffed came a faint reassurance that nothing would seem out of place when he was done.
Within seconds he felt what felt like a veil covering him from head to toe. To the outside mind, if they weren't paying attention to the very faint shimmer of a body, the room appeared empty.

He began to regret doing what he did, he would definitely have to wait longer for the promotion he was after now. But more than anything, he was annoyed with Zarran for not allowing him to have the shouting match that he was gearing up for. He would have to try harder next time.

Picking up speed, she zoomed across the sky, trying if anything to run away from her thoughts. She couldn't remember much, and that sense of emptiness frightened her immensely. Slowing slightly, Aria began a slow descent, spotting a strange clump of buildings that looked kind of like the base she had just been in. Frowning, Aria landed lightly on the roof, this time careful not to make a sound, and peered through a skylight.
It appeared to be some sort of sleeping quarters. She could see a man's profile from the skylight, but she couldn't see his face. Something about him seemed familiar, and sent a ripple of unease through Aria. Unable to help it, she shivered, and a slight rattling shook the skylight. Launching herself away from the skylight, she cursed and remained crouched on the roof, hoping the man would take it as merely the wind.

Shadow was in a world of pain. For as long as he could remember, he had never truly been in the darkness. Until now. He could see nothing, feel nothing, and it terrified him. He was wondering wether he was dead when he heard a voice.

Exo picked up speed and ran right up the wall, then back down in a matter of seconds. She got close to Ophelia before slowing down. She was starting to get a little tired, but she had enough energy to go for much longer.

Dies heard a clanging sound on the roof and jerked awake. He felt around, and sensed a familiar presence, but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. He opened his window, and floated out of it, slowly rising to the roof. He could see a crouncing figure.
He called out. "who's there?!"
