"Ema isn't the detective for this case, Trucy," Phoenix called out to his daughter, with a smile, "This one is being run by Zeth. Ema would be able to give you advise on the case though
"Caught somewhere in the middle of the conversation, Zeth rose his head, from a phone call to Bebop about the results of the face identification. blinkinga few times at hearing his name, Zeth noticed Trucy looking back at Phoenix, and formed a sweat dropp on the side of his head.
"I better go, B." Zeth laughed uneasily, "Looks like Lil' Trucy is going to bombard me with some questions. So, they're absolutly sure that it was Marie, right?"
"Yeah," Bebop responded with a disappointed sigh, "she was a real looker that one. I was going to ask he out on Friday, but I guess I'll never get to date her, right?"
"Hah..." Zeth chuckled lightly, "No offence, mate, but I don't think you would've stood a chance against her anyway. She's a gold digger."
"I get paid alot!" Bebop rebut with a sulk in the tone of his voice, "I could've had a chance!"
"Darren, it's not LEGAL money, is it?" Zeth laughed, "Besides, she'd just freeload off you. You don't want that."
"I know... You better get going, Zed."
"OK, catch you later, B." Hanging up his cell phone, Zeth sighed. "I seriously gotta hook that guy up with a woman that ISN'T insane or taken...."

Apollo said "What the.. I feel like I can... do different things..." he had the urge to point at something. So, he did.
He yelled, while pointing at a nearby tree. Around the tree, a ring of black darkness appeared, and out of that, a Skeleton. "Woah..." Apollo said, suprised. He told the skeleton to run around the tree, because he was sure of what his powers were. Sure enough, the skeleton ran, and then sat there, awaiting orders. "Cool! I just... summoned a skeleton?" he announced. ((Tell me if there's anything not alright with that, like if someone already has some kinda power like it.)) Apollo walked back over to Trucy. "I'm back."

Day 1
Phoenix glanced back at Miles, not sure how he should answer. Part of his was obliged to support his leading lawyer of his firm, but the other part of him said it'd be hypocritical of him to help Miles out so much with the case and then freely open himself up for information laundering to the opposition. He knew Apollo would use the information to assist in finding the truth, but alot of it was illegal, and he wanted Apollo to find his own way around, rather than relying on the illegal evidence.
Finally giving Miles a doofy smile, Phoenix gave him a kiss on his cheek, muzzling him slightly, "Of corse I'm with you, Miles. Who else would I ever side with? Apollo is more than capable of finding the truth in his own way, but in saying this..." Bringing his lips up to Miles' ear, Phoenix grinned, "You're not going to be able to stop Zeth helping them out decrypting information they find, Miles. You could never stop Gumshoe, and Klavier couldn't stop Ema, so I think it's more than a fair trade off. Don't you think?" Giving Miles' ear a kiss, Phoenix chuckled as he held Miles tightly, "You never know, what Apollo finds, might solidify our evidence."
((It's true. Prosecutors never did have control over their detectives. I wonder if Miles knows that Zeth is in the show with the rest of them?))
Day 2
Chuckling as he fought against Trucy twisting his arm gently for a minute, he finally let her twist it back properly as she showed him the note.
"Oooooh, what do we have here?" Zeth grinned, scanning his eyes over the page thoughtfully, "a suicide note from Marie? Interesting piece of evidence Pixie (I've decided that is Zeth's nickname for her. He nicknames everyone. I figure Trucy would already have one)." Glancing at the panties that were still in her hands in surprise for a moment, Zeth also wondered for a moment if there was a portal to another dimension in there somehow. Readjusting his glasses as he glanced over the page, Zeth sniffed the page a few times, and hummed thoughtfully. "Pixie, mind if you do me a favour?' Pointing toward Klavier, and Ema, Zeth gave her an inquisitive look, "Would you mind getting Miss Skye over here for me? She usually carries all sorts of stuff with her when she goes out, and I'm wondering if she has any luminol oil here, or any other forensic diagnostics." Pausing for a moment as he tweaked his glasses just like Ema does, Zeth grinned, "Invite her over though. Knowing her, she'll want to do it herself."

Zeth raised his brow at Anthony dully putting the note carefully out of view, "Most people sport this usefull tool called eyes for answering such questions, Kid. Now obviously you've forgotten how to use yours, so I'll explain this next tool that most humans sport. EARS. It's something we all have, so even if your cute little pirate patch blocks off the vision from both eyes, you could still tell that I was just talking to Trucy Wright." Brushing him away with his hand, Zeth picked up the note to wander off, "Now run along, and play pat-a-cake with your friends. I don't have time to talk to brats with no respect for personal belongings or their owners."
((Oh- Cold shoulder XD For future reference Anthony, that is NOT how you get information out of Zeth. If you want to get information out of him, you have to either be friends with him, or have a one up on him. I don't think Anthony is capable of having a 1 up on him, so your best bet is to be friends with him. Why don't you start from the beginning with Marrissa instead? ))

((Seriously, Anthony. Unless you are good at patching things up, it's going to take more than giving Zeth a new set of shoes to win his friendship. You're best to get Marrissa to have a go. Anthony is actually more interesting as an enemy of Zeth's right now. There's nothing wrong with conflict. I do sugest he buys Zeth new shoes though to take the heat off him, cause he wont get conversation out of Zeth at ALL till he does.))

Stroking his goatee, Zeth narrowed his eyes, playing the scenario out in his head, "So, Marie finds out that David Bell is madly in love with her, and wants her to leave her sister and elope with him. But she doesn't want to. How does this suicide note fit in, and why does it have blood on it? Was Marie that upset that she'd rather die than elope with David? I mean, he's not a Casanova or anything, but..." Pausing his train of thought, Zeth sniffed a laugh, "...but David was crazy, and she didn't know what he'd do to her if she said no, so she writes another note to her sister, not knowing if she'll make it or not? Cause the first one might get deleted when David Bell looks at the private information? Where did Marie put it then?"
Adopting a puzzling look as his eyes investigated the note, Zeth refrained from talking to himself, to see if there was any reason he shouldn't use luminol oil on the page. He knew that it could do more harm than good if DNA was involved, but was DNA really important here?

I smelt blood on it, so I thought it'd be interesting to see what the blood could tell us about the note. You normally carry forensic supplies with you, right? It'd be really handy if you had luminol oil, and some lifting tape- see if I can pass on something new to Trucy about this note that we can't already see. Of corse though..." Passing the note to Ema carefully, making sure she knew to hold it where he had been, Zeth adopted a considerate look, "I'd assume you're want to process these yourself. I'm more than happy for you to do that if you have the tools on you."

"Interesting..." Zeth murmered, rubbing his temples, to get rid of the head ache, "This piece of paper has been blood stained for a while. It's drenched in the smell of blood, but the traces on it are actually weak. That's why the blood isn't that visible. This whole piece of paper is lit up like a Christmas tree, except here and here." Showing Ema the spots of uncovered paper, it looked like a silhouette of the middle of a thumb and forefinger stretched across the bottom of the page. "I wonder if this was on a pad of paper, and for some reason, the note was written on the second page rather than the first... then the first page got covered in blood, then smeared off for some reason?" Becoming lost in thought for a moment, ceasing his chit chat out loud, Zeth removed the sunglasses, using them as a counter balance to preoccupy his left hand.
((Stabbing in the dark again T.T I'm trying to make this piece of evidence work, but I'm not sure if this is even possible XD Unless the luminol picked up something that Zeth thought smelt like blood but was actually something else?))
