To get past that tricky spot at the end of JJF, you have to pay very close attention to the order the beats appear. After losing at that point, use the Review button and try to get a close look to see if you're hitting the 4 before the 3, or something like that. And if you get even one wrong, it will either disrupt your rhythm and make you miss and lose, or you'll keep hitting the wrong ones or the right ones a beat too late, miss and lose.

Remember, the beat pattern won't be exactly the same as the previous, one or two beats will be repositioned, so you'll hit left when you're supposed to be tapping the next one down, as an example.

Don't tire yourself out with the spinners, just get it to the top and use the bonus time to rest up and get ready. Unless you're in the ! zone in the Beat meter that is, in which case the bonus scorees will raise it high enough to make it through the beat cluster if you get them all right.

If you're playing it on Hard Rock, it shohuld be easier as the beats will appear one by one, whereas in Sweatin', they all appear together in a cluster and be harder to read. Whichever one you're stuck on, keep a close eye on the numbers.

And just so you know, it's not a million notes. During the third section it's 12 or 13, and the fourth and final section, there's about 15.

True. It helped that I loved the song long before I played the game. Stones FTW!

Random: There's a section on game challenges in the Australian Official Nintendo Magazine, and they're is one on EBA. Apparently it's just to finish JJF on Mirror mode. Has anyone done it?

Reverse the calibration. It's hard with I Was Born to Love You on Easy, never mind JJF on hard rock.

Random: There's a section on game challenges in the European Official Nintendo Magazine, and there is one on EBA. It's just to finish JJF with the calibration set to the right and down a little. They mention it might make some impossible to hit, but they managed to get to the 3rd section.

Same one as the Aussie one. :yuusaku:
Said in mine that the edge notes were hard to hit, due the DS been a little bit too un-calibrated.

As you can easily see, I'm totally addicted to this game currently. Once school gives me some time to relax, I play the game and when I'm not doing that, I'm drawing fanart, and when I'm not doing that, I'm planning to cosplay the EBA, and when I'm not doing THAT, I'm talking my boyfriend and his best pal into kissing each other while cosplaying the EBA for a skit.

Can't believe I didn't notice this thread until recently.

I didn't find JJF that hard, actually. :eh?:

ABC was way harder, in my opinion. :sadshoe:

I can't believe there's a thread for this! It's one of my favorite games ever, easily. I mean. it's so freaking entertaining, especially since the concept is actually that of SECRET AGENTS that SOLVE PROBLEMS through DANCE. In a word: win. Just wondering, though: have any of you guys who've played EBA played Osu! Takae! Ouendan? I was just wondering because I'm thinking of ordering it. I mean, I know it's in Japanese, but all the gameplay is the same, right?

Many people on Court Records have play both games and the sequel to OTO. The game play is the same right down to the guiding dots. For a translation of each mission in OTO, consult your local GFAQs FAQ.

Hmm, kinda necropost, but oh well.

EBA is great. I also have osu!, and it's great, since there are many fanmade songs. There's even AA music, and one song that had a AA story to it, by using AA sprites and graphics.

@CrimsonBlaze: osu! isn't Japanese, and it's completely free. If you wanna download it, just google it and you'll find the official site.

Oh, really? I thought it had been released on DS in Japan. Oh well, thanks very much! I'm totally gonna get it now!

I have Ouendan 1, and 2. Both play the same as in EBA, with about three differences other than language.

1. In Ouendan 1, you can't skip intros. :sadshoe:
2. In Ouendan 2, you can skip intros, and endings. :karma:
3. In Ouendan 2, there are two squads of ouendan to play as. Both are awesome, but the red team got crappy songs, not counting GLAMOROUS SKY or COUNTDOWN. :payne:
