The Zen isn't like the iPod. FM radio, voice recording capability, ability to insert an SD card and import content, you don't need to maintain a library or "SYNC OR LOSE EVERYTHING!" like on iTunes, some versions of Zen do have libraries but you can still add tracks and delete them from your computer no matter what the Zen. I have both the camera and the printer (the printer has no paper, and I used all the refills.) After seeing the error message screens, I wanted to trash mine! Seriously, I was freaked. But the Japanese error faces are worse. And the music...GAH!! I wasn't the only one Ninty traumatized with that. On YouTube all the Gameboy Camera videos have experiences similar to mine...I am not alone.
I still make sure not to press anything I shouldn't, and I tread veeeeeeery lightly on the menus when I'm playing it. This is seven years later!!
They don't go for very much on Ebay last time I checked (but I could be wrong as far as the printer, I don't know.)

Asaki: Woot, grats on the return of the DS. That's.. really weird with the stylus thing, hah. I carry an extra blue stylus in my wallet, actually. It's for emergencies... sorta? I forget it's there most of the time.
The Zen sounds awesome. Yeah, the iPod is annoying, but hey - I got two iPods (30gb video and also a nano) for free, so I'm not complaining too much when I use them. If I had actually bought them, forget it. My 30gb iPod actually cannot use iTunes properly anymore/update properly anymore, so I use third-party software for updating my songs. It's quite awesome and hassle-free.. iTunes is crap, in my opinion.

I'm currently a freelance graphic designer but my main career path will be in Human Resources. I will be attending graduate school for industrial/organizational psychology in the fall... while hopefully doing some freelance graphic work on the side. ^^
I didn't want to go into graphic design as my main career because frankly, it was too uncertain for me. I'm an artist at heart, but the stress of having to have my income rest on how I churn out flyers or logos would be too much for me.
Here's a hint, since you seem very nice and considerate: I usually post more than one banner at a time, so maybe you'll be able to request sooner than you think. If you are unable to grab a waitlist spot for awhile, I will gladly reserve one for you in the future since you're a new requester that seems to be very respectful, etc. :)

Baron: Well, right now, I have three internships so basically I'm working full-time just at different locations (wake up 6am, get home 5-7pm).
Earlier last semester and before that, when I was a full-time student, it was still manageable, though sometimes challenging. I've always been good with time management; it's not really too much of an issue for me. Almost everyone who requests here is extremely understanding of my schedule since I'm providing a free service which is basically whatever free time I have.
I've peeked at your thread; three requests isn't bad at all in terms of workload and should be manageable (I've had waitlists with over ten requests on them; now that's tough to handle!) There really is no rush to complete them all in a day - typically, a few days to a week is the standard. Besides, you're doing these for free, so people are understanding. We'd all assume everyone has a real life besides CR, I'd hope. >__>;

Yes, I do TWEWY graphics.
It depends... if it's a common sprite, then I have it on my computer. However, you cannot be too vague unless you don't care what sprite it is, as long as it's a particular character.
It's easier on me if you simply provide the sprite, but a clear and specific description of the sprite is fine as well. You can try describing the sprite(s) and I'll tell you if I need you to post them or not.

Ah, I understand your concerns about a career in graphics. Working to time limits is one thing, but when it's based around creativity, that situation isn't really desirable.

I found my black one since and never considered the "unlicensed" crap, but if I knew they'd do that I'd have probably replaced it. I keep a spare for my Pocket PC since I lost the stylus for that, or in case the current stylus goes AWOL.

Oh wow. How did you get them for free? Friends? Contests? I hate having to keep a library, that's why I got the Zen. My sister's friend also has iPod problems and asks for advice. I say, BUY A ZEN.

Actually, the author is Frank McCourt, a male. But yeah, the book is annoying. Still a good story, just not written in the best way, is all.

In all seriousness, here are some youtube links I found. They may or may not be scary to you, but to a 7-year-old girl who just got a sweet Christmas present...Don't say I didn't warn you.
These are the non-Japanese error faces.
PRINT ERROR #02 (means the printer is not connected or off. the scariest IMO!)
NO BLANK FRAMES (trying to save a picture when the album is full will yield this)
WHO ARE YOU RUNNING FROM? / third error face ("Who Are You Running From?" is a message that shows up a lot when you press the "run" button on the menu that has pretty much no function whatsoever - a successful "run" will yield a picture of Africa with the text "YOU ARE NOW CROSSING THE EQUATOR. JAMBO NINTENDO!"
On a lighter note, my favorite musician (points frantically to username) Asaki's birthday was on June 30. Yay~

Asaki: I got the 30GB one through my mom - a stock trading company mailed it to her as a "freebie" or some sort of gift.
I got the iPod nano through my restaurant - about three years ago, someone left without it (no idea who it was) and never returned to pick it up for over six months or so o__o''
It was a guy's iPod, and I was amused to see some Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears on it.
Third-party software are nowhere as anal as iTunes. Yeah, there are playlists to upload to the iPod, but one particular program I use, I can just add a few songs or albums (whatever I need to update) and it adds those to the iPod in a few seconds. I'm not sure what you do for the Zen.
Goes to show how limited my knowledge is; never read Angela's Ashes or heard much about the book. ^^;
... HOLY CRAP! Those faces are so.. disturbing. ;___; I thought you literally meant emotes.
Yes! Use my wallpapers!! Of course I don't mind. The more people using my wallpaper justifies the time/effort :)
Random fact: I get an e-mail everytime someone downloads the full-size version of my wallpapers, so it's interesting to see the popular picks. :D

Haha, you got lucky with those iPods, especially the one that was left behind. It reminds me of the time that when I went to my dad's business party at a restaurant - yes, the Diner-That's-Supposed-To-Be-Getting-Theatre-Of-Magic-In (I have not been there in AGES so i dunno if they have it yet), and someone left an issue of Shonen Jump on one of the pinball machines. I'm like, OK, cool, and I just took it and kept it for a long time.
A guy's iPod with Britney Spears. Christina Aguilera's voice is annoying, but Britney Spears...wow. o____O
The Zen comes with its own software. The import wizard lets you select songs to import. Select them, press import, and WHAM, they're on there. You can even delete them from your computer when you're done. Nope, no libraries. No extra disk space. It's really great. My iPod didn't last long enough for me to find out about 3rd party software, but if I had known, I'd have looked into it.
Oh god, I forgot to elaborate on those faces! The music doesn't help. Just imagine being a 7-year-old girl saying "oh cool, I got this awesome camera thinger from Santa, and a printer too! Let's try it out," and then try printing a photo when the printer's not on, or when it's printing and the link cable falls out, or taking 50 squillion pictures and finding out the hard way that it has room for only thirty. AND THEN YOU GET THOSE. Eight years later they still short-circuit my brain!!

Yeah, some kid left an entire case of DS games at the restaurant once. :/ If I was his/her parent, I would make sure that thing was with us at all times. I mean, the total value of the case + games was well over (an estimate) eighty dollars.
That's great to hear about the Zen. I don't use my iPod much except for listening to music in the car, but I'll look into the Zen in the future. :) Sounds like a good product.

The skirt of the dress is very shimmery, with some white crinoline underneath...but there isn't a brooch on it, I'll have to find that on my own. It's not long like Lamiroir's, but yes, Thalassa changes her outfit (her magician's outfit, and a beautiful sleeveless white dress
