They'll send you an email. ^_^ I need to get some plane tickets as well. O_o

I remember that it takes them a little longer when you're sending a registration for the very first time. This year it didn't take me long at all to get my confirmation because I had pre-registered last year. (So I guess I was already in their database or whatever.) I can't remember exactly how long it took them the first time, but it took lot longer than I thought it would. ^_^;;

There's also a con in October called Animation SuperCon, which is hosted by the same people from Florida SuperCon, that I may go to. Whichever one I'm going to first, I'm going as Hobohodo. :3
The two colleges I'm interested in are near Tampa and Orlando... so for an '11 con I might end up at MetroCon or MegaCon. :D

Yes they usually happen around the same time every year ^_^ except when a convention is moving to a new building like AE did. Other than that they stay in the same timeframe.
Oh and don't worry about not seeing any cosplayers, there's always lots of them at conventions. Also incase you didn't know, Yaoi-con is an 18 or over con. If you're under that age you can't go >:
