Truth was, she still felt awkward about her and Klavier being alone together. It was still an early stage of the relationship, after all.

Adopting his poker face finally, Zeth settled his racing heartbeat, and turned to Miles with a vacant expression, as if he saw right through him. If there's on thing his father had passed on to him, it was how keep everyone guessing what you were going to do next. Watching Miles vacantly for a little longer than was comfortable, Zeth formed into a loud shrug, grinning snidely.
"Ok, Miles, you win this time." Zeth started, extending his arm out towards Miles, and forming it into a gun shape, 'shooting' him with it, "Don't expect to ever catch me off guard like that ever again." Turning back towards Ema and Klavier cooly, the disposition of Zeth had cooled significantly. He didn't show any signs of emotion, but for some reason, the air seemed to cool around him. "Lets get going." He finally said, walking off to the elevator control to push the down button.
((Miles would spot this- Zeth hasn't acted like this since he became free of the Mafia. Before that, Zeth was always very cold, and uncaring, and seemed to gamble with things alot more freely. ))

Mine features Zeth, and it a teaser for my fanfic Turnabout Attorney. It's not a yaoi or hentai or what ever... It's a long court case that spans a long time with mystery and some mob stuff. I didn't want to sell it, but I was talked into it :p ))

Just then, the doors opened. "Going down?" He pointed his palm inside the elevator, waiting for Zeth and Ema to step in.
((lol, I wonder which vehicle Ema will want to take. The 'deathcycle' with her boyfriend? Or Zeth's yellow Vespa? Speaking of that, I wonder how Klavier'll react to seeing Zeth's little yellow wonder? *actually wants a Vespa, but is pretty sure Klavier doesn't*))
Miles Edgeworth
During the last exchange, Miles didn't know what to say. He had witnessed two totally different Zeths. One was the Zeth he'd known; not very inviting, but more work/goal oriented. The other, however, was relatively new. Jealous...? Miles moved it to the back of his mind, then excused himself.
"I probably should be taking my leave now." Miles gave another slight bow. "Gentlemen." He looked over at Ema and tilted an imaginary hat. "Miss Skye." Then headed back into the forensics lab.
((Um, I wasn't originally planning on having Miles at the lab, so he'll be another blob until he'd needed. That is, unless Phoenix wants to have lunch.))

Ema stepped into the elevator, thumping the ground button before anyone else could. She loved pressing the button, but this forced Zeth and Klavier to have to jump in quickly before the doors shut. As she felt the familiar lurch of the elevator rumbling down, she rocked on the balls of her feet.

((Well, the group at the stadium has ignored him, so he’s likely on the phone to Miles now :) ))
Sighing as he watched everyone watching pizza, Phoenix flipped out his cellphone, and started dialing in Miles number as he headed off to a nearby bakery for some grub. Listening for the dial tone as he tried to move through an area with better reception ((Will phones even have bad reception in the future?)) Miles eventually picked up the phone.
“Hey, my sexy little demon,” Phoenix grinned dipping his voice in case someone nearby was alerted by his presence, “I'm missing you, how are you doing?"
Zeth
Taking a deep breath in as the elevator scaled down, Zeth leaned against a the elevator wall and stared at the ceiling with a tired expression. Darn it- why did I say all of that to him? Zeth thought exhaustedly. He must think I'm a nutcase. I preferred it when I could get angry at him, and run off laughing. Now I have to watch how angry I get when he talks to me. Doesn't he have another setting besides cold?
((Um- Zeth will be pretty much silent till someone initiates convo ^^; He's too busy brooding. What a poor guest >.> ))

Heading over to his Vespa, and putting on his helmet, Zeth swung his leg over the seat to sit down, and started the car. Suddenly realising that he didn't know where the restaurant he was meant to drive to was, he realised he'd have to follow Klavier. Resting his hands on the panel of his engine compartment to warm his hands up, Zeth sighed. I'm angry at Miles, Not Klavier and Ema. Maybe I... no, if I lower my guard with anyone, it'll be far more difficult to handle Miles when he struts up like a peacock again. Sighing once more, Zeth glanced down at the dials on his Vespa, not sure what he was going to do that night when Miles and Phoenix were going to be there together again. He didn't know if he could handle another afternoon of those two forcing themselves to keep their clothes on again.
Phoenix
Wide eyed in thought as the lunch deciding chore was left to him for once, all he really knew was Eldoon and a few other take away places down the road. Remembering that he had already taken Miles to Eldoon's noodles the night before, a sweat drop formed on his head. Miles wasn't too impressed with there.
"We could just drive down the road till we find somewhere nice?" Phoenix offered.
((JAPANESE!!! LETS CRASH KLAVIER'S PARTY!! :D The question is, did Miles catch the name of the restaurant they were going to?))

((About the gasoline part: Economists have predicted that during the next 20-30 years, gas will be on a steady incline. As we saw last summer (at least in the US; I'm not sure how it effected New Zealand) with gas over $4 dollars a gallon, the price of a barrel of oil is directly proportional to the state of the economy. When the economy is bad, the price of oil will be, also. Just backing up my statement about gas being $7+ a gallon. It's coming; be afraid, be very afraid.
