Recruiting too many writers means you risk having:
* more out of character moments
* more small plot holes
* less foreshadowing
etc., because all scenes are closely related to one another.

The gameplay structure (what the player needs / doesn't need to do, what move / examine / present / talk scene corresponds to each moment of the plot) is 100% done, and the plot-relevant dialogue 33% done.
What's taking more time is the "present" dialogue... I'd like the player to be able to interrogate the characters on more topics than in investigation day 1.
Since I can only work on week-ends until August, I think the detailed script will be completed in early to mid August.

Work on demo 3.0 has officially started, and YggdrasilsSword has just joined the team as a writer.
He is currently working on the first half of investigation day 2, while I am writing the detailed script of the second half.
However, we are still lacking spriters to do the remaining evidence, as well as people who can find / edit backgrounds.

We're doing what we can to make sure the third demo won't disappoint. As things are looking right now, it's going to be be even longer than the second one, bringing the game close to four hours and a half of potential gameplay (the final version will be about seven hours long).
You'll be able to present more things (around four pieces of evidence / profiles per scene), examine more spots in more locations, and the overall structure will be less linear than in the first day of investigation. There'll also be bonus content in the form of phone conversations.
The plot will gradually get crazier and more complex. By the end of the demo, you will have all the evidence you need to know everything, but there will be so many possible scenarios and alternative theories that only the smartest / those who have paid close attention to everything will be able to figure out exactly what happened.
So far it's been very difficult to write, but I hope it'll be a real pleasure to play.
Thanks for telling me about the wiki page. I have no idea who could have done it nor why they would do something so pointless... but from now on, I won't let them mess with it.

It used to work fine, and people have always managed to get through this part until now, so it must be that the code no longer works with the newest version of PyWright. It's kind of scary... I might have to rerelease everything -_-
But let's not panic for now. The first thing I need to do is understand what's wrong. You'll be the first informed when I find out.

I checked the script, the art files, the changelog... but still have no idea why it does that, so out of curiosity, can you explain what the problem is?

edit: dualscreen examine should be working again, in beta 10.92. Make sure to keep updating until it says it is that version (sometimes the autoupdate stops when it is not quite up to date yet)
