When he finished it, he cleansed his eyes and his cheecks with his sleeve again, and stood by Lida, sheltering himself from the situation. "Thanks...", he said. "This happened so abruptly... I'm very happy you're here." He smiled to her, and spoke to whoever was conducting the investigation. "Will you need me anymore, or can I go to my room now? I need to rest after this..."

Lida smiled down at her son. The fact that he could even think about sleeping was something that showed her he would be fine. But she doubted they would let him go. They probably wouldn't want anyone to leave yet. But she figured she should wait for them to reply. After all, she could be making the wrong assumptions.

Percei shook his head. "I didn't know anything, I was up a couple times, once I went to the Ice Machine at the end of the hall to get some ice, but I had to scoop it manually as the power was still out. Then later, I went to the vending machine and got some candy, and laid in bed reading for awhile, then went back to sleep. I didn't see anyone the second time. But... on the first time, it was pitch black, and I heard a door or two opening and closing elsewhere in the hallway, I couldn't shake the eerie feeling that someone was following me or hiding in the shadows, but everytime I flashed my light around, I didn't see anyone. Needless to say, I ran back to my room when I had the ice..."

Greeny checked his watch, to answer Percei's question from behind the fourth wall. "Well, it all happened so suddenly... It's half past one in the morning," he said, which gave him the sudden urge to yawn. "Dinner was quite some time ago, although late... I think 9 pm or something? It was quite delayed." Then he looked at Herr Blondie.

"You heard someone leaving the next room? Was it Percei, or...?" He looked around. "Who's staying in the rooms around Herr Blondie's?"

A bellboy stepped up, holding a list of guests and room numbers. "The room west of Mr. Herr Blondie's room is not occupied, sir. In the room east, Mr. Blade Satoshi X is residing."

Percei nodded and said "Thanks Boss" from behind the fourth wall as well. He then turned to Blondie and said. "Well, I went to get Ice around 11:30, and then to the vending machine around 1:00. I think the power had just come back on when I went to the vending machine, I had only gotten back to sleep for about ten minutes it seems, before Greeny awoke us all."
