"Just like Zak. Making a fine mess for everyone to clean up after. Pah! But at least he wasn't as useless as Valant," Magnifi said. "Now, where were we? Oh, yes. Getting rid of the curse. Let's see...You must regret all that you've done, yada, yada, yada...This spell could result in death. ...Yeah, we all know that. Yada yada yada...Has sworn never to use the spell again because it's a terrible thing to do to another person, blah, blah, blah...Okay. Here we go." He pulled out the pen. "This'll have to count as my staff. Stupid being dead. Not able to take any objects with me. Anyway..." He tapped Kristoph's shoulder three times with the pen. Then, he pointed it to Kristoph's forehead and there was a loud crack and a beam of light. "Oh, I forgot to mention that you'll feel really dizzy now. So, yeah. Sit down and stuff. Ta!" He walked behind the tree.

Kristoph blacked out after he had felt dizzy beyond belief. As he woke up again he still felt a bit dizzy. Urg thank goodness I hadn't had any noodles lately...urg. Now I just have to wait till this wears off. The whole world was spinning but he managed to keep himself balanced. As he waited for Maya he stumbled over. He kept getting back up and was getting a bit annoyed by this.

"...Who was that old coot?" the judge asked to no one in particular. And he sighed. Everyone had better things to do than pay attention to him, it seemed. Oh, well... Then, he noticed Kristoph stumbling around. I can help, anyway. He got up and grabbed Kristoph, leading him to a chair and forcing him to sit down.
"Please, stay sitting. I'll get you some noodles," the judge said, going over to Mr. Eldoon. "Two large bowls of noodles, please."
~Maya~
Maya woke up behind the tree. She tried to get up, but she was too weak. Kris. Kris... She tried again, this time standing for a whopping five seconds before falling back down.
~Udgy~
The judge returned to the table, putting down the two bowls. Then, he saw Maya struggling to get up.
"Please, eat. On me," the judge said. "You never know. It might help you feel better. Now, if you'll excuse me..." He went over to Maya and helped her up. As he started leading her to Kristoph's table that he had forced upon him, he decided to chat.
"So...You and Mr. Gavin, huh?" the judge asked.
~Maya~
"What? Are you going to tell me how wrong it is to be involved with a convicted criminal?" Maya responded. She knew too many people who would hate the thought of her and Kristoph being romantically involved.
~Udgy~
"No," the judge said. "Love is an unpredictable thing. Once you find it, there is nothing you can do about it. If anything, it would be terrible not to be involved with him. You would self-destruct if you had to hide those feelings." There was a certain wisdom in what he said as he sat Maya down on a chair next to Kristoph.
"Is there anything else I can do for the two of you?"

"No it's fine. Thank you." Kristoph replied. He then directed his attention to Maya. "Are you alright?" he asked her. Dispite his own dizziness his main focus was Maya. He didn't care if he had lost a limb, she came first. He began to recover a little and things started to get better. This was starting to become a wonderful time. There were noodles like he had promiced her, the curse was done and over with and there wasn't anyone to trouble them. At least he hoped that no one would interfere. In the mean time he was enjoying the moment.

"Haha! Told you to have noodles ready for me, Kris!" Maya said cheerfully as managed to down one of the large bowls of noodles in one gulp. Then, she looked at Kristoph and noticed he was pale. "A-are you okay, Kris? Did it work this time?"

"Y-yes it did work. Magnifi did say something along the lines that I would feel a bit dizzy." he said. He didn't want to worry her. So he had desided to eat a bit of noodles to see if it would help him feel better. The world was still spinning around him and he felt he could collapse again. He rubbed his eyes a bit to see if it would help but alas no avail.

But you never know until you try. She got up and walked over to Kristoph. Then, she gingerly pushed his bowl of noodles aside and bent down. I really hope this doesn't back-fire... She was looking right into Kristoph's eyes and any doubts she had in her head vanished. She smiled, then bent down slightly further and kissed Kristoph on the lips. She pulled away after a minute or so.
"Is that better?" Maya asked.

He had seen Maya in front of his face and as she came closer he moved in. They were kissing...again. "Is that better?" he had heard her ask. It was then the world stayed still. It was like some Earth shattering moment had occured. Not in an apocolyiptic way but in a heavenly way. "Yes." he said smiling.

After he had finshed what he had to do he had returned to the noodle stand to check up on everyone. Especially his so-called-friend Kristoph Gavin. He could see Apollo was with Ema,Trucy seemed to be enjoying herself and...Maya was kissing Kristoph?! How could Maya possably love him? He was the one who had took my badge and murdered Zak Grammyre and Drew Misham! To say the least he was furious and had made his way over to Kristoph. "I have no idea what exactly is going on here but you have some explaining to do." he said to Kristoph. He had dragged him by the collar and away to the tree. "What were you doing with her?" he asked harshly.

"Wright we both happened to love each other can't you just accept that?" he asked. "No I can't accept that a murderer is anywhere near her." Phoenix replied harshly. "I don't believe you. You put your own hatrid towards me to prevent her from making a free choice!" Kristoph shouted. He was then met with a punch in the face. "Arg!" Kristoph hissed as he hit the ground. "Don't you ever accuse me of being the one who hurts her. I'm only protecting her from convicted murderers like you." Phoenix said fuming. The fight was on and Kristoph knew that if he had fought back then he would seem equally as involved so he was just dodging Phoenix's strikes.

Trucy saw her daddy re-enter the park. OH NO! she gasped, he's seen Maya and Kristoph! ...I wonder what he's going to do... she stood and anxiously watched him as he dragged Kristoph behind the tree. When she saw Kristoph hit the floor, she assumed he'd punched him and took immediate action. "DADDY!!!" she yelled running over to him. "STOP!!!" Hopefully he'd listen to her...or else she'd have to take the nesissary precautions to keep him from beating him to a pulp.

Ema was startled to see Phoenix rush so unexpectedly back into the park...and especially at Kristoph. She jumped off of Apollo's lap, not just because of the serious tension that fumed off phoenix-- whom she might need to pull off of Kristoph,-- but also because of the guilt she felt she had...she felt just a little embarassed of him seeing her perched on Apollo's lap the way she was...he knew her to be scientific and professional, and this was......not.

Apollo was startled when Ema jumped off his lap, but stood immediately after her. Reflex? Oops. He looked over to Mr. Wright, his new "daddy" he supposed, and saw that he was punching his former boss to ground. Just a little bit later than his sister had, Apollo ran to where Phoenix and Kristoph --and now Trucy, were standing. "M-Mr. Wright!!" he shouted with his chords of steel.....

Apollo saw them, and felt pretty hopeless, his chords of steel would only possibly startle them for a moment or two, and seeing them... It reminded him of the time in court... Wright vs Gavin... Only this time... It was no holds barred, bare fist fight.... He felt like he was dreaming, THAT'S IT! Yes, he was dreaming... He had to be... Ema agreed to go out with him... Yeah right!... Kristoph was good... Oh, that's believable... And now... Now there was a fight right here in the park... It was all just... So.... Apollo felt his knees quake, and felt a bit faint..

Ema silently watched as Apollo ran over to the tree where nearly everyone seemed to be standing. She heard him use his "chords of steel" as he liked to call them...then...HE FELL!?!? "APOLLO!!!" she practically screamed and ran over to him. "Wake up! WAKE!! UP!!!" she said, shaking him violently by the shoulders. Maybe I can revive this princess... she kissed him, hoping he'd wake up from his stupid little beauty nap. Not like he needed it, though... she shook her head and re-embursed herself in the situation.

Maya ran straight over to Phoenix and grabbed his fist as it tried to get Kristoph again.
"Stop it, Nick," Maya said. "Maybe you won't listen to Kris, but I'm sure you'll listen to me." She took a deep breath. "I am in love with Kris, and he loves me. We had some common experiences. We understand each other. And it is because I love him that I'm stopping you right now. Please, just...Behave..." She cleared her throat to say more, but then decided against it and looked down.

He had managed to avoid most of Phoenix's attacks. He had then heard Trucy and Apollo. You could say Apollo had used his Chords of Steel very effectively. Either they have come to help me or they have come to assist Wright. He knew he had Trucy and Maya on his side yet he wasn't sure about Ema or Justice. He then tripped up and landed on the ground before getting met with a hard kick by Phoenix. He got up and still managed to stay concious. I can't attack or I'd look bad. Yet I'm going to use my endurance to at least wear him out. And I'm not going to lose to him.

He paused when he had heard Trucy call him. "Trucy I have to settle this with Kristoph." He had then felt Maya grasp his hand. He had heard her plea for him to spare Kristoph. "Maya he's a murderer. You can't possibly love him." he mentioned. He still had his own personal grudge against Kristoph and after that first punch he wanted to realease all the anger he had. Yet he didn't want to hurt Maya.

How can they be defending this murderer? He was a bit puzzled and he noticed that Trucy was crying. Oh sure I'm the bad guy for trying to protect them. He still didn't like the idea of Kristoph being with Maya the very thought just tore at him. "Listen to your daughter Nick." he heard her say. He finally let down his fist. "Alright. But if anything does happen don't expect me to hold back." he said.

He was touched how Maya and Trucy had gone so far as to protect him. As he saw Phoenix let his guard down he had slowly gotten up. He was a bit brused and was bleeding a bit but besides that he was okay. He then felt it...a little snap where Phoenix had kicked him. He bit his lip due to the pain. "T-thank you." he said to Maya and Trucy. He noticed a small glare from Phoenix but he had brushed it off.

"Yeah, Trucy. Thank you," she said, giving her a hug. "It's okay." She then looked at Kristoph. "Are you okay, Kris?"

The judge silently got up and walked to the noodle stand unnoticed.
"Do you have any ice?" he asked. Eldoon gave him a confused look, but nodded. "How much for a bag?" Eldoon shrugged.
"Heh. Take it. It's free." The judge thanked Eldoon and pulled out a handkerchief, wrapping it around the ice. He then walked over to Kristoph and handed it to him.
"Here. Use this wherever you need it," he said. Then, he sat back down as if nothing happened.

Trucy helped Kristoph up. "are you okay?" She asked. She hugged Maya back and let her handle the rest while she glomped her daddy. "thank you, daddy!" she said through her tears. He was a DEFENCE attourney, after all... he should have a little more faith in people..no matter what they'd done.

"Well I couldn't hurt you or Maya." he explained he hugged Trucy. Well at least she appreciates me. I'm not sure Maya would forgive me that easily. Phoenix wasn't sure if Kristoph had changed at all. He always knew him aas a murderer who had manipulated anyone to get what he had wanted. Apparently he had gotten Maya and his own daughter to protect him. If Kristoph Gavin had the nerve to do that and broke Maya's heart he'd loose it.

"I think my wrist is broken." he said while he tried his best not to move his left wrist. When ever he had moved his wrist it would send an extremely painful senation though out his entire arm. He was bleeding a bit from a cut by his chest but other thn his wrist nothing too serious.

Maya gingerly grabbed Kristoph's ice pack and held it to his broken wrist.
"I'm sorry, Kris," she said sadly. "Nick usually isn't violent."

"A broken wrist should be wrapped," the judge said, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. "And kept still." He pulled a wrist cast out of his robe. "I sometimes get a bad wrist on the job. This helps." He wrapped it firmly around Kristoph's wrist and hand without looking up. Then, he looked up at Kristoph. "This should do until you can make it to a hospital, Mr. Gavin. Try not to lift any heavy objects in the mean time." Then, he went back to his table and sat back down.

When he had left it was just him and Maya. "Yes just as long as I don't move it." he said. So much had happened today and then he had remembered the deal he had made with Phoenix. Ugh the one advantage he has over me! "However since he does know my where abouts and we had made a deal when I arrived here he could send me back to prison anytime he wishes." he said.

He was able to get ahead of Kristoph by being able to send Kristoph back to prison at any given time. He wasn't about to right now unless he had too. As long as Kristoph didn't harm anyone then he wouldn't call the police.

Trucy grabbed her beloved daddy's arm and lead him towards the noodle cart. "I'll treat you to some noodles, as means of thanks!" she smiled at Mr. Eldoon. "Another bowl of your finest!" She pulled her hat off her head and reached inside, pulling out a 10$ bill. "Don't tell polly i had this." She winked at him. "I hope this covers the cost" She handed the bill to him.

"I'm pretty sure he won't mind." Phoenix chuckled as he got his bowl of noodles. Phoenix loved the noodles that Mr. Eldoon had to offer. He had always came here for lunch. Part of was because they were nice and salty and the other part was that is was pretty much the food he could afford. As the judge walked over to them and asked to sit down he nodded. "Of coarse." he agreed.

"You're right." he agreed smiling. He was a bit dissapointed that Wright was going to indrude on their relationship but as of now there was nothing they could do. He had thought he saw Wright shoot a glare at him after Maya had pecked him on the lips. He then noticed the judge distract Wright from bothering them. "And as long as I do have this time to spend with you then I'll be just fine." he said smiling.

The judge paid for the noodles, then sat down at the table with Phoenix when invited.
"You know, Mr. Wright, I have found myself in a situation similar to yours," the judge said. "You see, many years ago, I had a best friend. I would have done anything for her. In fact, over time, I came to love her. Like family." He chuckled a little. "In hindsight, it might have been more than that. I would find what was wrong with every single person she tried to date and I'd be sure to tell her exactly what I found.
"'I guess you're right,' she'd always say. Then, she'd break up with them." The judge sighed. "I finally gathered my courage and asked her out one day. But she didn't love me, and she never wanted to admit it. So, she'd go, 'Sure.' Then she would never show up for the dates. She always had an excuse, too.
"One day, she did find the man of her dreams. And I found everything wrong with him, as was habit. For this guy in particular, it was easy to see his flaws. He even had a criminal record...For assault and battery, I believe. Believing she was walking into a situation where she would get hurt, I told her about this. Only this time, she didn't say, 'I guess you're right.' She instead said, 'Oh? And who gave you the right to judge someone else? You don't even know him!' And she angrily stormed out of the room before I could even say anything.
"So, I stalked her. Every date she went on, I was hiding nearby, spying on them. Until I was caught. She asked me why I was doing that. I told her it was because I loved her and I believed she shouldn't be dating this guy. We got into a heated fight, and we both went home, upset. I have never seen or spoken to her since." He closed his eyes sadly. Then, he opened them.
"I give you this advice, Mr. Wright: don't try to interfere in your friend's relationships. You'll only bring yourself further away from them. Because when it comes between choosing a friend or a loved one, no matter who it is, they will always choose the one they love." Then, he noticed Iris. "Ah, seems Ms. Hawthorne would like a word with you."

Maya blushed slightly.
"No time like the present," she said absentmindedly, staring into Kristoph's eyes. "I'm happy with any time I get with you as well, Kris." She gave him a hug.

He had thought about what the judge had to say and he then noticed Iris. The flashback of a certain case reminded him of how she had felt about him. It had been a long time...too long since he had seen her. "I-Iris? Well it's been so long since I've seen you. How have things been going?" he asked smiling. Gosh how long has it been since we've last seen each other? I'm glad she's finally free.Maybe now they could catch up on old times.

Enjoying the confortable hold she had on him, he had held her as well. "I do wish that there was some way for me to free myself from that prison. That way I could stay by your side." he said. Deep down he knew it wasn't possible but he wasn't about to dwell on that fact. He was going to live for the moment and not think about what was going to happen in the future.

After recieving a kiss from Maya and kissing her back he was wondering what they would do next. He was careful seeing as if Wright intervened he'd probably go after him again. There was a pond nearby so maybe they could at least get some privacy and maybe take a walk. There were also some ducks in the pond and it seemed like a good idea to take a bit of a nature walk. "Well why don't we go by the pond. That way we can have a little bit of privacy." he suggested. Just anything to prevent Wright from interfering.
