You should feel it moving through your organs now. I've almost reached your spinal column, when that fragment pierces your bone and starts to wreak havoc to the nervy-bits, you will lose the use of your lower body from that vertebrae down. If I can get any enjoyment out of this, it's the humility you are gonna learn outta this."
Hubris grabbed and pinned Hunters arms in place. He turned his head towards Samael. "Oi, old man! Why not go back and rot in hell already, you have no prey here anymore."
'Or at least close that gate you opened. Idiot reaper gawks to me about balance, then lets the area get contaminated with a direct doorway to hell.'
The fragment reached bone, and began to drill its way into the spinal column. ((And if anybody has ever had surgery on their spine, they can tell you that is the second most painful surgery you can have, aside from bone-marrow related things. Unsedated, at least...))

"Y-you can't just let him die like that, can you?!" she asked, trying yet again, futilely, to get free of her dome. She pulled out a knife and threw it at Hubris, but it only got stuck in the blood.
"Fate...There is a fate here, I cannot interfere," Samael said. This didn't calm Jasmine down one bit.
But I can, Jasmine thought. If only I could get free of this... She pulled out a fan and started attacking the dome in one last-ditch effort to break free as Hubris described the graphic details of Hunter's final moments...He'd be in so much pain and agony...

"...oddly enough, I am content with this. You may not 'cry', but this is just as amusing." Hubris said. The frag finally made it's way INTO Hunter's spine, and started it's quick ascent upward, tearing through nerve clusters. The shock alone would put a normal human to death, but odds were Hunter wasn't a normal human. Hubris had a special end to this planned, and he hoped it would take care of three birds with this one stone.
"You should leave now, reaper. You have already failed at keeping the order of the old world alive" Hubris boasted. He stepped away from Hunter, and wiped the bile on the floor as he moved away. "And in the end, there shall be naught more than an 'arrow through your heart' as a reward for all your work."

"S-someone..." she gulped. "Nobody's going to stop him, are they?" She was aware that the stream of tears gushing from her eyes was growing. She felt so...Useless. Powerless. She couldn't do anything to help...If only Inner let her 'run off' with the demons...It was because of her this was happening.

"IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SPIRIT AND THE HOLY GHOST, I CAST AWAY DEMONIC FORCES" the same voice that spoke with hunter at phone days ago yelled and so 2 Catholic priests entered the white room, one of them looked like a young adult in his early thirties, the other one was very old, "Legacy of satan begone from this earth, and go to the hell where you where born" the young one said as he took out a sword that emaned a holy aura, the old one took out a musket with many crosses drawn in the iron, "We are your oponents fiend, now prepare to go back to the hell where you belong" the young priest rushed against Hubris, as the old one put on his glasses and started to aim slowly to Hubris...

"Tch-- fate indeed!!" Hubris said. As of that moment, the crystal fragment had almost reached past Hunter's collar bone. Hubris had to cut things short, sadly. In a short spray of blood, a crystal arrow exploded from Hunter's back, destined towards the older of the two strangers.
As for the younger of the two, Hubris again morphed his hands into blades, elongating them for more reach. He swept at the younger hunter in the hopes to counter his own blade.
"To hell, to hell, to hell with hell!! My place is in this world, and hell is where those who fall before me belong!!"

Jasmine couldn't believe it for a second. The men came just in the nick of time. V would be saved, would he? She looked at the priests, relieved. She wiped her eyes. Suddenly, getting out of the dome didn't seem so important. She collapsed in there with a huge sigh. But then she noted what Hubris did and stifled her protests. She hoped she wasn't going to be responsible for more deaths...

Joseph shot the musket destroying the arrow and then it hitted Hubris` right arm-blade, and started to burn, joseph reloaded his musket and started to aim again, "You have no oportunity emboiment of sin, your vanity will be the one to destroy you" Isaac`s sword started to burn the other blade arm as well.
Samael opened a portal "Current targets: Forticius and Hubris, Hubris: neutralized, Forticius: escaped" he vanished...
Hunter just laughed "THAT HURTED LIKE A SON OF A BITCH" then he said to Hubris "This wouldn`t be happening if you where man enough and killed a while ago instead of telling me your faggot schemes" The pain just grew stronger, but instyead of crying, hunter laughed until passing out.

"You men are no different than the vulgar one on the ground." Hubris scoffed. He was out of options, at least those that didn't involve tirelessly struggling. "All humans are the same, working in the name of earning their own salvation while spouting guff about right and justice..."
Two things occurred at once. First, the shattered pieces of the arrow scattered around the old man started to stir, before shooting from the floor as thin spikes, intent to impale. Second, Hubris's body began to alter in form, his human appearance blurring out. As his outer flesh disintegrated into the rest of him, all that remained was a glistening humanoid form, the body of which seemed to constantly be moving at the smallest level. Even slightly, his body seemed to be made of the same crystals he had been wielding, and held an opaque reflection of those around. With no mouth, words came from his new form. "Be happy, and gaze upon the true face of pride."
The second man's sword passed through him, and out the other side with no effect, as there was no longer solid body to catch it. The thing that Hubris had became swung at the younger Vatican man with his hand, slicing everything he touched with the constant churning of his body.
((Whee~ Hubris's true form! Lampshaded this in the last RP, and just like before, it is kinda hard to describe how the body of a being composed of glassy "dust" works. Suffice to say, if he can carve up a dagger (near the first part of this RP) with the constant shifting of the "dust", he can shred flesh.))

The blackened fragments started to shift, before being consumed by the rest of the body: separated and spread out, ultimately broken down and recycled. Although still slightly shaky, he looked "normal" again. The remnants of the arrow, as small as they were, started to move again. This time, they slipped through cracks of the floorboards, and disappeared under the house.
"Exorcists have tried these kinds of trick on me and my kin for years. We play along, then go back into hiding from your 'oh-so-observant eyes'. Its boring and predictable-- next you are gonna try to seal me up or use Holy Water, I bet. ...I think I'll have to ask San to pay me back sooner than I thought..."
Hubris chuckled to himself, before imploding.
Imploding, as in suddenly disappearing into himself. As in, like he was sucked up by a vortex located within his own body, just disappeared into himself, right on the spot. Little remained, no more than some stray fragments drifting to the ground and deep scratches carved into the floor from where he stood.
Even though he seemed to have disappeared, his presence was still heavy in the area...

The entire house started to shake at its foundation. "Man needs another lesson as to why it is not the Divine."
The floor all across the room, and other rooms, started to shatter, as countless large, spreading spires of milky crystal burst through it. When one finished bursting from the floor, several more jagged edges would sprout from the first, creating more and more spear-like crowding within the building as the giant crystal spears haphazardly spread. Several deliberately burst through the floor before the door, effectively sealing that escape off. One tried to pierce the blood-barrier, impacting upon its surface and failing to break it.
"Those who do not judge thyself, BE JUDGED!!"
The house's stability was failing, and there was less and less space to avoid the jagged edges of this spreading spire-fest.
((And it was not a slow process either.

"Shame you are aiming the wrong way." Came his shout from outside. "I didn't say something like 'I will eat you alive', now did I?"
Beyond the sealed house, above the neighbor's building, a single violet eye floated at the very tip. Slowly, a body grew from it, until Hubris, shimmering into his human form, stood upon the roof. In both his hands, he held his over-sized signature mirror, bronzed and polished, and intact, despite being left behind at the apartment complex during the building's destruction. His third eye, no longer needed, slid off behind closed skin, and his forehead no longer showed signs of disturbance.
"Cocky sh*t exorcists are always the same. Always trying to get a easy finish..." He muttered, below hearing (considering he was a good house away). "I'll end this quick."
Spinning around a few times like an Olympian discus master, a hefty throw sent his heavy mirror flying into the very shaken house. As it went crashing through wood and crystal, it sent fragments raining down everywhere, like shattered glass. Too add even more danger to the situation, with a good part of the remaining supports to the building, it started to collapse as well, rocking and shaking.
Hubris let out a barking cackle, mockingly talking the whole while. "No man, demon, or god shall smite me! I'll outlive you and anything you may try lay on my sorry ass! Kyahahaha--!!"
'Yes. Yes, you will, love. Now move, they will soon prepare a counter-attack from your flank.'
Hubris stopped immediately as the whispering voice came from right behind him. He spun around to see only his own shadow, empty roof set upon the night sky. Hubris immediately turned back around to see if the maker of the voice and returned that way while he had first turned...
((EDIT: Gah, I forgot to touch upon how the summoned crystal-body you wrote about could play into this without just ignoring it... x.X))

Jasmine gulped as the crystal came crashing through the house. Would everyone be safe? Would her little thing work? She was panicking inside her shield. She would be okay, but everyone else...

I am sure you all clip your nails, right~?? They are a part of you, but technically not anymore when removed from you, like when you groom or shorten them off. In that same sense, the material that grows and originated from Hubris is "him", but at the same time, not "HIM-him".
Also, I've seen you on several times between my last post and and this, Hunter. If I did, I didn't mean to offend you, but you were stepping on my character without letting me know what you were doing (or asking permission to) in advance.
To be honest, this isn't new, in this or the last RP, but the other instances weren't unmanageable; in doing so at one point, you even gave me a better backstory for my character than I had originally planned.
Still... don't force another (read as: my~ :D ) character to do what you want them to without permission, it hurts...
EDIT: In retrospect, with what has been presented so far, I actually see a way that there can be no overlooking of any of the previous details as far as what you have written, and my prior post as to what I made my character do. Think about it as to how those two posts would work linearly, rather as if I had ignored something (which had not been my intend, either).

Its a shame we never got an explanation as to his absence, but right now, I think finding a way to keep the story alive without relying to heavily on the main characters of his may be in order...)

Spirit of Nana, protect him, Jasmine thought as she hastily cut her finger. A woman seemed to appear right in front of her.
"How will you pay me? Your blood does nothing for me when it comes to this."
I don't know! Just do it! Please. I'll pay whatever you want, okay? The woman disappeared for a second, and a dome formed around San. Jasmine felt a jolt as the axe hit the inside of it and she collapsed.
"Consider that your payment." The woman started fading away.
W-wait! Please... Jasmine sighed and touched the dome. "Spirit of Nana, I no longer require your protection." The woman laughed.
"Only the man who cast the dome around you can undo it."
Make an exception. Please. Lives are at stake.
"What will you pay me?" Jasmine shuddered.
My blood. The woman figure laughed.
"You are one unusual girl, Jasmine Yankovich. But I accept." Suddenly, Jasmine's hand hurt and she felt weaker. The dome around her disappeared. She threw a few knives, intending to barely prick everyone besides San's finger.
"Spirit of Nana, protect all of them!" she shouted. She couldn't tell if it worked because she closed her eyes immediately after she threw the knives. Spirit of...Whoever's in charge of this stuff, please take me to Hubris, for I cannot possibly run fast enough. Please. Lives are at stake.
Jasmine opened her eyes to see she was on the rooftop behind Hubris, but she felt even weaker. She could swear she saw a man's smiling face for a second, then the image disappeared. Weakly, she grabbed the demon's shoulder.
"You don't have to do this," she said. "I'll go with you and San."

"If you won't help me, I'll find someone else," she said. And, as if trying to prove her point, she strutted away without waiting for a response.
As Jasmine walked through the operating theater, she started wondering if anyone else was there. It was just...Black. Maybe she shouldn't have left San. She wasn't even sure where she was going. Then, she saw a shadow in the distance.
"E-excuse me, sir," Jasmine said, quickening her pace. "I need to get back to the surf-" The demon turned toward her, and Jasmine's breath caught in her throat. She trembled with rage and fear. The demon's eyes widened.
"Y-you!" she shouted. The demon growled at her, but didn't move. "You...Monster!" It walked toward her. "You...you..." She was feeling weaker. She took in a sharp breath. The demon laughed.
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" it asked. Jasmine's face flushed and she gritted her teeth.
"That's all you have to say for yourself?!" she responded.
"Yeah."
"You killed my father, you--"
"And you are in the Underworld," the demon interrupted. He walked toward her. "I'm not constrained by a king of demons anymore. Oh, this will be fun. Like father, like daughter." Jasmine pulled out her knife. "Ooh, scary! But you're weak, aren't you? You're obviously not dead yet. Otherwise, you wouldn't smell so delicious." Jasmine's hair stood on end. "Here, you are weak, but I am strong. Your knife will do nothing for you." Jasmine became aware that the demon was right in front of her, but she couldn't get herself to move. It laughed at her.
"Just like your father."
"W-wait, you can't kill me right now," Jasmine squeaked. "You...You owe me!" The demon stopped. "I...I had the opportunity to kill you for good, but I didn't, so...You owe me." The demon sighed and hung his head.
"You should have--"
"But I didn't," Jasmine interrupted. "I-if you k-kill me now, it would be d-dishonorable even for a d-demon..."
"Okay. Fine. Whatever. So, Princess, what do you want?" the demon looked her in the eye again.
"I...I need to get back to the surface. If you get me back there, I'll consider your so-called debt paid. And then you can do whatever you want next time you see me," Jasmine answered.
"Fine. Concentrate on where you want to go and close your eyes." Jasmine shut her eyes, thinking about the building Hubris was on top of. She felt a certain kind of pressure, then that was gone. She opened her eyes and was behind Hubris. Jasmine turned to thank the demon, but he was gone.
She turned back around and walked purposely toward the demon.
"Stop!" she shouted. The shout sounded weak even in Jasmine's ears. "I'll do whatever it takes to get you to stop." That was all she really had planned. How was she supposed to explain why she was there? "I..." She slowly, hesitantly, reached out and grabbed Hubris's hand.

Anyways, I cannot do anything as of now, aside from point out this error in logic. I seem to have lost any window to make Hubris act (EDIT: And I do mean any, it would be a flimsy reason for me to disengage him from the battle for now; San was after her and would have followed, no doubt, but Hubris was intending to kill his foes, not deal with her so actively. With this empirical flaw, and lack of V, there is nothing I can rightly do to have Hubris leave-- He has no viable reason to leave, anymore.) and would be unfair for me to ask for a "redo"... ^^;
EDIT: Before you ask, I do have a reason for not having Hubris simply follow them. Call it what you will, but this would be rather hypocritical of me/him if he went to the underworld willingly now and not before.))
