what the hell are you talking about. the channel itself is completely legal. homebrew games and applications are completely legal. backups of games goes into the legal gray area though.

So you want to (possibly) void your warrantee, so you can play DVDs on a system, among at least 3 others in your household, with unsupported software, that doesn't (didn't?) have access to the system's fan, so it can burn your game system out sooner.

Warrantee or not, there are some things that are better left undone.

A better argument might be, I wanna hack my system so I can use cheat codes, or maybe, there's a cool HomeBrew app that doesn't harm my system, or maybe to get around region locking.
