But Edgey likes to be neat and orderly. So there will be a certain procedure that is to be followed.
You can contribute any of the following. (Or hold a little discussion about someone else's contribution.) All contributions must be labeled accordingly.
1. An Inquisitive Question
You can just post a question you want to have answered about Calisto. I will make a collection of them in my second post. These questions will be among the things we'll aim to answer in this topic.
Examples:
2. An Information Deposit
This will be added to the Information Bank, which will be in the second post I make in this topic. Things that would go under this type of contribution would be stuff we already know. This stuff must be actual facts, so we will have something to build on. It's kind of like those little Logic bubbles that float around in Edgey's mind.
Examples:
3. A Logical Leap
This is like the little thing Edgey does when he yells, "Eureka!" When you post one of these, you can yell "Eureka!" too, if you like. It should be a logical conclusion about Calisto based on evidence in the Information Bank. The conclusions from Logical Leaps will be added to the Information Bank and can be used to fuel more Logical Leaps. However, they can be argued with, and if they are proven wrong will be removed from the Information Bank.
Example:
4. A Conjecture Explosion
If you come up with a crazy theory with little to back it up, post it as a Conjecture Explosion. However, we do expect you to have something to back up your theory, although it doesn't have to be from the Information Bank. Conjecture Explosions are treated as just that: conjecture. They are not added to the Information Bank. However, they can be debated over, and are meant to make people think, but should be used sparingly.
Example:
Now it's your turn. Respond to my examples or come up with ones of your own!
