I bought the game but was wondring whether there is an english patch for this version of the game?

I know at the very least someone was working on getting the fan translation to run on Android.

I don't know about that there's definitely a fully completed Fan-translated Rom out there courtesy of CR's fine people. It's been too long for me to remember where it was from but give it a google search and you should be able to emulate it on Android. You've bought the game so no shame in romming it.

It's being worked on by the same team doing the DGS translations, so I assume most of their attention right now will be on DGS2.
