I'm quite fluent with English (and can spot anomalies and any sentence that would sound weird) and played all of the localized Ace Attorney games.
i could be indeed of some use,but maybe a person who studied literature would be better ?

Something like this happened a long time back when AA1 had just come out. As I recall there was a website that was translating the GBA version of AA3 before Capcom said anything about translating the second or third games. I could make some if I really pushed myself, but I'd be struggling to fit localising sessions into my schedule; and the process is quite lengthy. I wouldn't enjoy it right now, and that's why I wanted to do this in the first place really - because I love the series and love writing.
Hopefully other people step up, I've got a partially translated ROM with the first two cases translated and it's top quality. Almost forget it wasn't a Capcom-translated game at first, had to keep reminding myself.

I'm really glad that there is some fan-translation going on, I was considering watching some translation of AAI2 on You Tube to know the plot but if there will be a possibility to actually play the game, I'm going to wait patiently.
I'd love to apply but I'm not a native speaker so clearly my English is far from perfect (sometimes I think it's even far from decent, I hope I'm not making too many errors).
I have two questions.
Is there any site where translation group posts news about progress of the project?
Does anyone know whether there are any references to AAI2 in GS5? I wonder is it necessary to play AAI2 before GS5 to fully experience the game.
