"You made an origami chess set?" Alchie looked surprised. "That seems like a lot of work... but I suppose it's worth in the end. Could you please show me sometime?"

"Hello, Matt - um, it's okay if I call you Matt, isn't it?" She asked tentatively, then continued. "A master of technology sounds cool. And they told me about the same... But I think we all have lots more to learn..."

Ryuji cleared his throat.

"U-uh, I-I'm Ryuji Arisato! The Ultimate Actor! I-I'm the...uh, greatest actor of my generation a-and, um...yeah!"

Ryuji tilted his head at one of Archie's comments. "But Monokuma said you can leave..? He's not letting any of us leave...h-he said he was putting us up on this weird death game..."

My own sense of smell is also pretty... neat, so to say. I study methods to identify individuals, illnesses and dangerous goods like explosives by scent, so that those findings can be used better train police dogs, for example. "No... he didn't say anything about leaving." She bit her lip, looking confused. "When did I say that? If you mean about the letter, that was just for informing the teacher in charge that I didn't need extra classes. But I'm still supposed to go for them. And what do you mean by death game?"

"I don't know what kind of sick, twisted person would think killing people is fun. I don't want to think about it." Matt spat the 2 sentences, clearly directed at Monokuma.

He then shook his head. "I don't know if he can make us kill eachother.. He refered to himself as a god, and he's pretty damn close to one considering what he did to block all incoming radio signals. We'll make it through this somehow, I'm sure of it. So.. no worries." Matt forced a smile.

"To block radio signals... How far will he go? But he can't keep waiting for us to kill each other... At one point or another, people will come for us. We just have to hold on till then," Alchie said, trying to infuse herself with Matt's confidence. She wished they had a better strategy though - humans were not like pieces, untouched by emotion. They couldn't predict what another would do... although she wished nobody would go as far as murder...

"What is he going to do if he don't do as he says? Did he say anything like that? And why can't we just ambush him and find whatever key is keeping us locked here...?" She got the feeling that there was a lot more to know about the situation.

"But.. the problem with getting out of here is there's no exit. There's no lock on the door we came through. It literally cannot be opened at all - so the only one that can open it is Monokuma itself. We looked through every inch of this building and we found nothing." Matt said a few moments after, thinking back.
