Yep I did it, after reading another topic of course.

But anyway post your new years resolutions here and all that fun stuff.

Here are mine

-To do good in school
-To not do drugs or drink alcohol
-Be the class clown while still retaining an ounce of sanity
-Find love *shot*
-Earn a medal or special award

Thats about it!

Anyway if you find no use for the topic I suggest a lock, but if not.

Put your resolutions here!

I hear ya. It helps though that my mom is doing it with me and she knows how to make her meals more "healthy". It's the first thing I've ever been committed to and I have shocked myself. It is a nice feeling when your pants start to feel loose! :) I wish you luck with losing weight as well! I hope it goes good for you! ^^

I haven't been following any diet program at all. My mom looked into losing weight a while back and its really simple. All I do is just watch my calorie and fat gram intake. My goal everyday is to eat under 500 calories of what my old diet used to be. I basically stay on a 2000 calorie diet, but with I eat, I hardly ever go above 1500. The fat grams though are what will get you too. You will find alot of it especially in your dairy products and I am such a sucker for cheese. :( My mom had to keep to 17 fat grams a meal, which is really tough. I don't have a set goal for what to stay under for fat grams, but I do try to make sure what I eat isn't high in them. I have heard of the Biggest Loser internet program, in fact, I love watching that show because its so inspiring. Of course, I wouldn't dare want to work out all day long! XD Hey, maybe by this time next year, you'll be in shape!!! That's what I'm aiming for. Just remember though, aim for small goals at a time so that way you won't get disappointed and want to give up. It does help to have someone doing it with you too! Gotta love encouragement!

I lost about 9 or so pounds just cutting back on my food intake over the course of a month. I need to start eating Breakfast, because I don't, then I have lunch at school, and when I get home I'm hungry because all I'd eaten over nine hours was a sandwich. And I'm starting to increase my exercise, because I'm really a lazy girl who just sleeps, reads, walks, eats, and goes on the computer XDDDD So I'm doing rounds on the trampoline again. My mom's always getting the healthy option: 100 calories, no salt, seltzer and water, skim milk, etc. I've barely drank soda in my lifetime, I was raised on seltzer.

@Razetora: I lost about the same amount my first week. In fact, my biggest weight lost was my first week. You totally sound just like me though!!! XD. Doesn't eat breakfast and all you do is do what you have to to survive and get on the computer! I have found myself actually enjoying working out though. It gives me something to do, but I haven't been able to do it at all this winter break because I've been sick the whole time. We got a weight set and a treadmill in our garage and when I can, I'll spend about 45 minutes to an hour a day working out doing the weights and spending 30 minutes on the treadmill. Once I can finally get a good schedule started though, I'll probably do it about 4-5 times a week, depending on laundry! XD I need to get back into the habit of eating breakfast again as well, which means I need to start waking up earlier. I am lucky though that I have the opportunity to come home and eat because of my schedule. Seriously, I gained maybe 10 pounds this year before starting to lose it because I was confined to fast food this spring semester because I was on a tight schedule. >< Of course, doing nothing over the summer contributed to that too. XD I have noticed though that since I have started the weight loss thing, I haven't really been hungry all day like I used to. I wish I could have a hamburger though.... haven't had one in about 3 months. lol.

1) Write 30 minutes of fanfiction a night so something will get done eventually.
2) Make sure to do my physical therapy exercises everyday.
3) Buckle down in Algebra and French. French especially since I'll be visiting Europe over the summer.
4) Wear my contacts more often

Um, this one is not a resolution. More like my obligations. Here goes:

My days off (yeah, that means holidays) are almost over. So I may be online or not at all, since that I'll be working on another research on the existing genome project. And I did not say this earlier because I just don't feel you people wanna know (so it's not stated in my CR profile).

And along with my usual commitments that I did write down in my forum User Profile. Besides that, I promised The Doctor for a KiriVi (The Doctor dood, I rather say it as KirVio!) fanart before I finally inactivate myself here.

And... I will swing into the forums once in a while when I have the time. So, I'd like to convey a pre-farewell salutation for those who have known me (or not). Have a breezy 2008!
