The smilie we already have was looking the wrong way. I wanted to go for more of a
feel but with Godot. I forgot the eyes! I'll have to work on that.

I think the open hand needs to move up and to the right more, like in the sprite.
and make a face that matches the sprite.It doesn't take too long once you learn how to make them.
I usually make them before I go to bed. That's is when no one bugs me and I can work in peace.

You really have to start with a smiley base and c+p specific parts onto it, such as hair, glasses etc, if you're not confident with doing it from scratch, which tbh I can't be bothered with either.

That is what I did do. I just made the base larger to match it with the hair (because I didn't want to resize each frame of animation) and resized the whole picture. I only recolored the hands and the edges of the mouth and eyes to remove the skin colors I missed. I'm going to redo them tonight so they look right.
