Right now, quite a few people are planning to cosplay characters from the fourth game (Apollo Justice~) for Anime North 2008, which is taking place in Toronto, Canada on May 23-25. Anime North is a huge convention (the largest in Canada, and I think one of the top 5 in North America), and Toronto is close to the US border, so hopefully I can catch your interest, since WE'D LOVE FOR MORE ACE ATTORNEY COSPLAYERS TO COME! (This means you!)
PLUS, Croik herself is showing up to cosplay as
There's still a lot of time to start on costumes, and to book hotel rooms/tickets to Toronto~

It would be great if more people choose to cosplay other characters from the 4th game and try to complete the set as much as possible. Of course, you can also be a character from the previous three games as well. Duplicates are also acceptable.

The reason I say "car" rather than "Plane Ticket" is because I like to follow tradition. My grandfather (87-88 years old at the time) used his several decades of engineering and mechanical experience to modify his own car into a portable hotel room complete with mini-fridge! I'd like to do the same to a car I get someday. It worked well too, because he went down to New Mexico to visit my uncle and didn't have to stay in a single hotel the entire trip.

I suppose the location must be far from the airport, so I need to know of any hotels near the venue of the event. Hopefully I get to check for the room vacancies just in time after the suggestions, else I have to cancel attending the event.

On the subject of lodging, I'd suggest tripadvisor. Just put in the convention's hotel information and search the map around that hotel. They've got reviews and ratings on everything and let you compare prices as well.

ATTENTION TO EVERYONE: If you haven't been to Toronto and you don't tend to spent a lot of money on taking taxi, you'd better have A REALLY GOOD idea about the bus transport map. The bus transport system is like...crazy=_= They do have bus stops(a small and nice glass pavilion),but they don't have stop boards. There is no way to tell which bus will stop at the stations, unless you ask someone around (but don't hold your hope up, I asked a pop and he had no idea about it). So if you reserve a hotel or something like that, please make sure you know the exact place where the bus stop is.
Anyway, I haven't been there for half a year, so maybe they've made it up, maybe not.
